Oh my gosh! I just finished that book this morning. It's SO true. The (view spoiler) came out of nowhere! It was so jarring.

Thanks so much, Fran & Ami. Things have been chaotic, but I'll have to send you girls a private message to explain. Things have been SO chaotic that I've only been able to log onto GR a handful of times since January... and I've only been able to read 6 books this year. :(

The (view spoiler) were WEIRD!!! I actually had to do some research to see if it was possible to have those types of thoughts, given the hero's condition. I asked my mom, & she said that it was possible in some very "extreme" cases. Still, I'd rather not read about it in my Erotica. You know what I mean? Jeanne, Ami must have considered Forked a literary masterpiece when comparing it to Some Sort of Happy. ;)
Yes, Maida! I really enjoyed Stuck-Up Suit!! It was slightly different from other books I've read, which is always a nice surprise. Too many books are so similar to one another. I'll have to check out Amanda's review!! The Player & Pixie was also an enjoyable read, in my opinion. I hope the others are liking it as much as I did!! Can't wait to hear their opinions!! :))

Hey, girls! I just finished Book 2 last night, & I take it all back. Book 2 is NOT better than Book 1. They're both pretty bad, & I ended up giving both books 2.5/5 stars.... Ami, Book 2 is a case of "Not THIS Again," & I have to say that the (view spoiler) storyline was OTT & unnecessary. Like the title implied, the storyline got CRAZY.
*The scorching hot love scenes were the only things propping up my ratings for these books.*
