Wally Hobbs was pushed onto our radar early and later Adam but I never bit.
I thought it was Simon all along when Adam noticed his pry bar wasn't in the back of his truck. Then when Adam used that vanilla-based cleanser in his lab, which we knew Sonny had used, I knew the killer worked in Adam's lab. I knew it was definitely not Adam as there was nothing in his makeup to do something like this.

The vanilla threw me off for a while, but I didn't want Adam to be the culprit. The other red herring was Hobbs, still living in his parents' homestead, which seemed remote, but I didn't sway his direction.
I just don't remember knowing what Simon's part-time job was. Did we know early on that it was at the funeral home? Oh, yes, the funeral director was slimy, too -- another possible suspect.
