Read-a-thons (in other groups)

Anybody heard of readathon? read about this in book riot. it sounds exciting. how do we join? how do we find others who are joining?

Odette, I believe the read-a-thon you're referring to is Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-Thon. It's twice annual (one in April and one in October) read-a-thon that is very popular in the reading community. You can find all the info about it here. They also have a GoodReads group here.

If you like read-a-thons, I urge you to join our in group read-a-thon. We have a few yearly read-a-thons and our first is beginning April 13th. It is a week long read-a-thon. All the info on that is here.

I will be participating in both.
