SOLVED. YA-Fiction; set in a private school I /think/ [s]

I read this in 2010 or 2011, but it may not have been new then. It was just in a pile of YA books I picked up at the library.

I remember the main character was a girl who was REALLY obsessed with probabilities and coincidences and she was an orphan. I believe she was in some sort of private school. She and a group of other students, or maybe just one other student (wow helpful I know I'm SORRY) find this pink car in either the lot or a driveway or something and "steal" it and go on some sort of crazy mini adventure
I even remember at the end it turned out that the pink car was a birthday gift for her birthday from her guardian or something, and she was rich, and her family had died in some horrible plane crash that she had witnessed....

It wasn't an extremely long book (less than 400 pages I believe, as it took me less than a day to read, but I could be wrong) and I believe the male character spoke Tagalog and coincidentally someone else spoke it...
