Chel and Em

Jamie smiled. "I like it." He told her and sighed. He wished he could hold his baby. She would be a couple of days old when he met her and it just didn't feel right. "Piper." He said after a minute of their shared silence. "Let's call her Piper."

Issy smiled as she held her daughter and looked at her "piper, I like it." She said, happily agreeing on the name

Jamie smiled widely. "Piper." He repeated softly. "Pip. I like that." He told her and chuckled, though it really wasn't that funny. "I bet she looks like you." He murmured, starting to feel weak and faint from the pain he was in.

Issy smiled as she talked with Jamie and looked at her daughter "she does, but she's like you too." She said to him, she could tell he was still in pain though "babe you need to rest. Let the healer help, stop talking."

Jamie couldn't reply for moment. "Issy, I don't wanna stop talking to you." He whispered. As he drifted towards unconsciousness again he became less aware of what he was saying. "I need you. I'm scared. I need you." He mumbled, words he wouldn't have said before because he didn't want to burden her any more right then.

Issy looked at his commander again. "I know, I know you don't but you have to. Babe I'll see you at the hospital." She said "I love you." She told him before hanging up for then then looking at josh. "You have to consider it josh, we have a family now. He can't be doing missions like that one.. Please, consider it." She said before walking out

Jamie frowned when Issy hung up. He couldn't do this without her. He had put on the act that everything was going to be fine but he really didn't think it would be. Sure he would live but his wings... He couldn't even look at them. Finally they arrived at the hospital where they were waiting for him. He looked around for Issy, needing his wife.

Issy had rushed back home to change pip before taking her around to zayne parents house where they already had Isaac, she was glad at the time that he was down for his nap so he wouldn't be too upset when she had to leave. Racing to the hospital and waiting for Jamie, ice she arrived she ran through and asked if he had arrived, which he just had.

Jamie was just about to give up his search when he spotted her. "Issy." He called out with what strength he had left. He needed her. He refused to do as he was asked until he had her by his side.

Issy looked towards him when he called out, she thanked the girl behind the desk before running to Jamie, crying again as she saw his wings "Jamie... Oh baby." She said, hugging him slightly "it's going to be ok."

Jamie relaxed when Issy was with him. "Baby..." He murmured and then took her hand. "I love you." He smiled at her. "You hung up." He accused with a playful frown on his face.

Issy took his hand and her it protectively, keeping him close. She smiled with a small laugh "I had to, you needed to rest." She said you still do." She told him

"Still. That was mean." Jamie told her jokingly because he didn't want her to be sad or worried. "Tell me what our kids have been doing." He requested, to keep her talking and to give him something else to focus on once they were in a room. The doctors were already getting started on fixing his wings.

She held his hand gently, giggling just a little before she sat at the end of the ed hear his head so the doctors could work "they're with you're parents" she said "Isaac was napping when I dropped Pip off." She said

Jamie smiled at her. "How was it?" He asked her as he stroked his thumb over her hand. "When Pip was born?" He hadn't had much of a chance to ask her about it because they had both been busy. "I mean were you okay and stuff?"

Issy held his hand more as the doctors did some things. "It was hard, 18 hours babe." She said to him then smiled a little "but it was good, the nurses were very good, you're parents were good too." She said "she was very healthy."

"That's a really long time." Jamie murmured and gave her hand a weak squeeze. "There was no problems? Everything went good?" He asked, worrying about her a lot.

Issy looked at him again, smiling slightly "I love you babe." She said to him and smiled happily "it was rally good, very good." She said to him, kissig his head softly "ok shh stop talking."

Jamie smiled. "I love you too." He said softly. "Talking is helping. It's keeping me distracted." He told her and then scrunched his face up in pain.

Issy smiled slightly, still so worried about him. "Please just try. I'll keep talking to you but please, try to rest so they can do their work." She said

Jamie nodded. "Okay, but you keep talking." He requested and held her hand in his. He lay his head down and closed his eyes, trying to cope with the pain.

Issy sat beside his bed, she didn't want to look at what the doctors were doings, it was too painful for her to even just watch. They spoke a lot during the process of the doctors doing things.

About an hour later the doctors had done all that they could. They helped Jamie to sit up and told him what he could and couldn't do. No working, relaxing as much as possible, and absolutely no flying. Jamie nodded and looked at Issy with a smile.

Issy looked at the doctors as they finished there work and took him to another room then helped sit him up. She looked at him again, holding his hand with a small smile "I'll make sure he rests at home." She said "but what about him playing with his children?" She asked

"Gentle playing. Not running around or lifting them up." The doctor said with a pointed look at Jamie. Jamie nodded and took the painkillers that the doctor gave him before standing up. "Come back in a week and we'll have another look. If it gets worse come back immediately."

Issy smiled and thanked the doctor again the looked at Jamie "shouldn't he rest in here more?@ she asked the doctor whn he go up.

Jamie frowned. "Issy." He whined. "I wanna go home. I wanna see my kids." He told her and then looked to the doctor for support.
The doctor just sighed. "He should rest here, however as long as he promises to rest the moment he gets home he can go." The doctor told her.

Issy was reluctant but she wanted him home too, she wanted him to meet their daughter. She looked from the doctor back to him "you promise? No playing too much with Isaac." She said

Jamie nodded. "I promise." He told her and gave her hand a squeeze. He leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Come on baby. We've got a daughter to name." He told her, desperate to meet his baby girl.

She kissed him back then giggled a little "we have." she said and thanked the doctors, helping Jamie head out.

Jamie grinned and walked out with Issy's help. "I'll call my mom and get her to bring the kids home." He said as they walked to her car. "That way we don't have to worry about going to pick them up."

Issy smiled slightly with a nod "yeah ok, we can do that," she said "let's go home then."

Jamie got in the car, being careful with his wings. He waited until he had his seatbelt on before calling his mom.

Issy looked at him as she started her car and began to drive, waiting for him to see what his patents said they would do
(Going to sleep)

Jamie spoke to his mom, assuring her he was fine and then asking had to bring Isaac and Pip home. He hung up a few minutes later and looked at Issy.

Issy glanced at him with a small smile as she drove them home. "I love you." She said softly

Jamie smiled at Issy. "I love you too baby." He said softly and ran his hand through his hair. He was so anxious to get home and meet his daughter.

Issy smiled happily, she was finally going to have Jamie back and he was going to meet their daughter. Once they arrived home she pulled into their drive way and into the parking spot, turning her car off also before she stepped out, going to his side to help him.

Jamie sat in the car once they had parked, knowing if he tried get out himself he would only stress Issy out. He felt horribly guilty because she was the one who was supposed to be resting and recovering after giving birth but now she had to look after him. "Thank you baby." He said once she was there and was helping him from the car.

Issy helped him out, smiling a little "let's go." She said and headed inside with him, taking him to the couch. "The house isn't too messy." She said

Jamie chuckled. "Issy, you know I don't care if the house is messy. We have to small children. It's never going to be perfect." He told her and then walked inside with her help.

Issy smiled with a soft laugh, nodding a little. "I know.. it won't." She said, smiling at him again, helping him into the house.

Jamie sat down on the couch with Issy's help just as his mom pulled into the driveway. "And here comes the chaos." He joked and looked at his wife.

Issy helped him down with a soft laugh when she looked at him, she kissed his cheek then went to answer the door.

Jamie relaxed on the couch and listened to his mom speaking to Issy. He grinned when Isaac ran into the living room and jumped onto his lap. "Hey buddy." He said and hugged him close, not caring that it hurt.

Issy gently cradled Pip from his mum, talking with her as they walked down the hall. "We've decided on her name." She said to his mum, smiling happily and then walking into the lounge, she gasped a little. "Jamie." She said to him sharply.

Jamie didn't let go of Isaac. "What? I'm sitting down. It's fine." He protested as his son moved to just sit in his lap. Sure his body hurt a bit but that was fine, his wings were the problem and as long as he didn't strain them or his back he figured he'd be fine. Sitting hugging his son who he hadn't seen in days was fine.

Issy looked towards him again, still unsure about it, she didnt like to see him in pain. "Ok fine, but don't be doing too much. You heard the doctor. No playing too rough." She said then walked towards him, holding Pip carefully. "Isaac do you want to sit next to daddy while he says hi to you're sister?" She asked him
She giggle a little a sniffled "well I couldn't keep calling her nothing so I thought if pip." She sai
