I know...wasn't that nuts??? I couldn't believe it, either.

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments I know right?? Mind blown! At first I was just like "whaaa?!" but it actually made a lot of sense once I thought about it. (view spoiler)

I was definitely a little confused when I read that part. I'm 70% in so hopefully I will finish the book by Wednesday.

Ashley Marie I'm about 80% through TRK right now, ready to go home and finish it off! It's getting a little weird(er) but pretty intense at the same time.

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments Yes, definitely very weird and intense!! :D

I have about 75 pages left! Hopefully I can finish it tonight! I crept out of work earlier than usual just to read it today. ;)

message 109: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie I tried to stay up and finish it last night after watching Brooklyn and Watership Down, but no dice. It's my one priority for today :D

message 110: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments Can't wait to hear your final thoughts on the book, Karen and Ashley! :)

Ashley - Those are both movies I've been meaning to watch! Were they good?

message 111: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie Yes! Watership Down wasn't as enthralling as the book and cut some stuff out, but I still cried at the end -- I'm really looking forward to the miniseries/remake right now. And I absolutely adored Brooklyn, it will wind up in my movie collection eventually :)

message 112: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments Ooh cool, I will have to watch them both then. :D Yeah I heard there was going to be a Watership Down remake! I'm interested to see how that turns out. I still need to watch the original, though.

I finished last night and will try to do a review and my thoughts tomorrow or Thursday. I just put in a 13 hour day and have another one tomorrow plus I just want to soak in this book and series for a day or two. Soooooooo good! I see Maggie on Saturday at BookCon. I imagine I'll be fangirling and all tongue tied! Brilliant!!

Elora Mitchell | 449 comments Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it. And wow--that's so cool that you'll get to meet her. :)

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments I felt the same way after finishing it, Karen––it was so emotionally draining (and so good!!) I just had to like, sit back for a day and let it sink in. I'm glad you liked it! And omg have fun meeting Maggie. :D I'm going to meet her in a couple weeks and I'm already kinda stressing out about what to say to her. I want to tell her that this series has like literally changed my life, but ... I don't know, I'm always nervous authors are going to think I'm totally crazy. I'm always so tongue-tied when I meet favorite authors!!

Ahhh so fun, Karen! I'm seeing her in Cleveland next week :D never met an author before, I'm nervous!! Taking all 10 of my books to get signed though :)

Aliza (alizaf) | 111 comments I finally finished the book yesterday and it was amazing! I kinda wish I'd been able to read it in bigger chunks but I just didn't have the time. I might reread it later in the summer when I know I'll have time to really take it in.

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) I am REALLY enjoying this series!! I should have read it a long time ago!! I'm 80% into The Dream Thieves. I love all the characters in this series, even the ones I don't like, I love to dislike them. Gansey is like the best friend anyone could ask for, and Blue (Jane) comes up on second best friend, Ronan has such a big heart and when he loves he REALLY LOVES, Noah is so sweet, Adam is one I am still on the fence between liking and disliking him. I LOVE Blue's family!!!! I'm very character driven and Maggie writes some awesome characters, with so much depth!!! Chainsaw makes me want a Raven! Oh, and Pig, that car....the car has as much personality and depth as the characters. I just love the way Maggie Stiefvater writes!!!

message 121: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments Yay Donna, I am so glad you're loving them! :) Totally agree about all the characters. They are such good friends. <3 I know what you mean about Adam; I also kinda disliked him in the first couple books, but I liked him more in books 3 and 4. And yes I love the ladies of 300 Fox Way, they are so cool! Haha the Pig is awesome. Maggie is a big car enthusiast and it shows.
