The Finest Hours: The True Story of the U.S. Coast Guard's Most Daring Sea Rescue by Michael Tougias

2. His favorite place to read is "before bed, every single night." Do you read in bed?
Just about every night and when I need a quiet place away from the kids.
3. Warren would like to meet his dad and/or anyone who lived through war. Read a book set during wartime (any war, any country). Bonus if the lead character is a father. ?
4. Warren says he hated reading as a child, but now reads 50+ books per year. Have your reading habits changed over the years?
I have always been an reader, but I have picked up my pace over the years. I've also adventured into different genres.
5. He would like to paint with the passion of Bob Ross. Read a book by an author, or with a main character named: Bob, Ross, Robert, Rob (or other reasonable variation). First or last name may match. For example Nora ROBERTS would be accepted.

This is the book I am finishing now. Will this count ?

River of Doubt is a good book. I find Teddy Roosevelt fascinating.

Sorry, no ... has to have a boat/ship on the cover (nice try, though, Warren ...)

2. His favorite place to read is "before bed, every single night." Do you read in bed?
Of course! Doesn't everyone?
3. Warren would like to meet his dad and/or anyone who lived through war. Read a book set during wartime (any war, any country). Bonus if the lead character is a father.

4. Warren says he hated reading as a child, but now reads 50+ books per year. Have your reading habits changed over the years?
I've always loved reading, but I think my reading habits have improved as I get older. I used to read nothing but chick lit and thrillers, but now I make an effort to read more widely and include some classics and more challenging novels.

1. Warren is a technical illustrator for the Coast Guard. Read a book with a ship / boat on the cover - Pirate Hunters: Treasure, Obsession, and the Search for a Legendary Pirate Ship by Robert Kurson. I highly recommend this.

2. His favorite place to read is "before bed, every single night." Do you read in bed?
No, I fall asleep too easily in bed. I like sitting on the loveseat in the living room or outside on the porch (when the weather is warm.)
3. Warren would like to meet his dad and/or anyone who lived through war. Read a book set during wartime (any war, any country). Bonus if the lead character is a father.
4. Warren says he hated reading as a child, but now reads 50+ books per year. Have your reading habits changed over the years?
My reading habits have definitely changed. I read a lot more. About 250-300 books a year. I also will write a review for each one I read on Goodreads.
5. He would like to paint with the passion of Bob Ross. Read a book by an author, or with a main character named: Bob, Ross, Robert, Rob (or other reasonable variation). First or last name may match. For example Nora ROBERTS would be accepted.
I took a Bob Ross painting class. The painting hangs in my living room above my loveseat. I still watch his show if I'm home on Tuesday or Thursday. So my book is Vision in Death by J. D. Robb

✔1. Warren is a technical illustrator for the Coast Guard. Read a book with a ship / boat on the cover - Post the cover image
If you look carefully at the bottom there is a boat.

✔2. His favorite place to read is "before bed, every single night." Do you read in bed?
Yep and same as Warren, every single night, even if it's really late.
✔3. Warren would like to meet his dad and/or anyone who lived through war. Read a book set during wartime (any war, any country). Bonus if the lead character is a father.
Hornet Flight by Ken Follett. Brilliant book set in WWII which has been sitting on my shelf for ages!
✔4. Warren says he hated reading as a child, but now reads 50+ books per year. Have your reading habits changed over the years?
I have always loved reading but I did go through patches of reading quite slowly (especially around exam times). Now I read whenever I have a spare moment and watch very little TV.
✔5. He would like to paint with the passion of Bob Ross. Read a book by an author, or with a main character named: Bob, Ross, Robert, Rob (or other reasonable variation). First or last name may match. For example Nora ROBERTS would be accepted.
