Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 836 comments I'm reading this book because Richard Dawkins is one of my heroes, and Charles Darwin is one of his.

Summary:
This book is just an abstract of Darwin's full theory of natural selection. Included are how he came up with the theory, a bunch of examples, and his inner troubles because of the knowledge that this theory will receive a lot of criticism from religious people.

I'm reading this for week 45, a book about a hobby or passion you have, and this is one of my secret passions: science.

I'm only in chapter one. I'm kind of having a hard time because of the language, it's old and scientific, but with some effort I can still understand it.

DJ MacLennan (djmac) | 12 comments A lot of it is hard reading but stick with it.I found it really
fascinating, you get caught up in both the scientific outlook
and the moral and theological issues which so divided opinion
in Victorian times. The best of luck with reading!

his surroundings, and on first arriving in Tierra del Fuego .It sounds
like such a wild hostile place and somewhere I would love to see for myself, one day maybe!
