This book is the second or third in a series. This book was released within the last few years. The boy and girl are childhood friends/lovers. He disappears one day and she finds him years later working as a bartender and fighter. He doesn't recognize her but they start to date. He had been sold into slavery and eventually earned his way free. Everyone thinks he is in love with the girl he had been chained to during the slavery. This has been driving me crazy!!
