There should not be any difficulty adding new books. However, it is not currently possible to combine a newly-added book with existing editions.

Well, the problem is that I have added three editions of a single book, (two of them as "add a new edition") and only the last one is shown properly: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Searching for isbn 9788379950461 or 9788379950454 – the other two editions – makes the url change to similar as the one above (so the book is most likely in the database), but only an error message appears:
Page Unavailable
An unexpected error occurred. We will investigate this problem as soon as possible — please check back soon!

Reading the comments here perhaps some people need to relax a bit. My suggestion? Go and merge and combine with your life partner (if you have one). It'll put a smile on their face, and yours.

If you don't have a life partner, go and read something from the erotic romance shelf and just think about merging and combining. ;-)

We’ve made a lot of significant progress on the combine/merge feature, but unfortunately we have hit a snag that’s really important to address before we turn this back on.
