Reader's block?

Thank you Cindi and PepperP0t. I'm trying that right now; changed from many classics and literary fictions I was reading to a fast-paced contemporary novel. I'll see if it works... (I have also resumed my running exercises...lol)

I just got out of one. I took a breather from reading and when that didn't work I just forced my self to read a little bit everyday. Then I feel back into it.

I've also heard the change of genre method sometimes does the trick. ☺

Loved that book!

This is exactly what i have to do when I fall in the Readers Block funk! I tried all the rest, changing genre's, taking a break, etc... And the only thing that seems to work for me is to just go and read something that i have already read that i know that i loved. Usually it is sometimes even 4-5 books that i re-read before i can pick up something new and read it straight through.

Maybe I'll like it better at another time.

those are my three tricks one of them usually work. let us know if it works for you. (change genre, re-read a favorite or this)

I don't switch genres well (gotta have the romance) so I catch up on my magazine pile until one of my fave authors has a new release.
Good luck busting out of the rut!

I rec

I get readers block too! Usually a change in genre or a favorite author will get me out of my funk.
