Diana (secondhandrose) | 73 comments How nice to receive correspondence from an author or free books. I'm not a big reviewer so op shop most of my books. Today I bought
The Summer of '82 Love Dave O'Neil $3.99
Elsa Schiaparelli: A Biography looked good at the right price $2.99
Benny & Shrimp this one intrigued me $3.99
Sophie's Misfortunes I have been looking for the first in this French trilogy so happy to find it today $3.99

Li'l Owl | 2504 comments Ooo! Very nice Brenda! I just finished her book Hush, Little Bird by Nicole Trope Hush, Little Bird in audio format last night and loved it. I posted my review this morning. It was my first by her and I was just looking through her others on Audible a few minutes ago when I caught your post! Let us all know how you like it. It's not easy to find it in book format but I can get it with my Audible credit which is even better! I wonder if Susan Stafford will narrate it.? =o)

So do I! Especially when I was auto-approved by Random House! But at least I get some "real" books from them now and then :)

message 2485: by Marianne (new)

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments well, the book whisperer has had a lean time of it just lately, but made up for that today, and some of those 5 star reads are to blame, in particular for the Kate Griffin (aka Claire North) and Laini Taylor books. Salvos and Vinnies were supported in acquiring the following:
Daughter of Smoke & Bone $2.50
A Madness of Angels $2.50
Dying in the First Person $3
The Midnight Mayor$1.50
What Dark Clouds Hide $2.50
The Whistler$2.50
The Vintage Springtime Club $1
Cast Iron $5
Mateship With Birds $2.50

quite a few on my wishlist and some cos I felt like it :)
