I picked up Penguin Bloom: The Odd Little Bird Who Saved a Family by Cameron Bloom and Where the Trees Were by Inga Simpson from Big W this morning:)

Just back from the shops and got Where the Trees Were by Inga Simpson...love that cover!!And also got The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney...prefer the other cover but they only had this one.
Unfortunately they didn't have Penguin Bloom: The Odd Little Bird Who Saved a Family so had to settle for just the two ;)

If you're interested Veronica, the first in the series Silent Scream is currently on sale at Amazon. I posted a link in the free/low priced kindle and ebooks thread.
I bought myself a treat today. I've been slowly collecting the penguin clothbound classics and heard they were going up in price so thought I'd better have a look at Dymocks. They certainly have gone up by at least 50%. I bought The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

That's excellent value..and well worth getting. I originally bought them all like this just on face value...they were so good I read them almost back to back :)
