Picked up a copy of The Caine Mutiny by Herman Wouk at a garage sale. After having seen the film a few years ago and enjoying it, I'm really looking forward to reading this and seeing how much was cut out.

I received Girl in Between yesterday and received the email today. Maybe they just had a glitch in the email send outs.
I already had the book and wanted to unrequest but you can't do that. I suppose it wouldn't be very often that someone changes their mind about requesting a book.

You can "unenter" a giveaway on GR, but not on Bookstr. I got the email saying I didn't get that one too.

And with Lisa Scottoline being so extremely well known, it's showing as AUTHOR NOT FOUND on Bookstr! They're hopeless.... don't know why I bother!

It doesn't matter what you search for ATM, it doesn't work. I sent them an email, maybe they will fix it eventually. But there are books I'd like to put up reviews for that I can't, because everything comes up "not found". The only way around it is if you've already read that author, you can click on the book you've read, then the author name and the scroll down until you find the book you want.... yeah, ridiculous!

As I was in the Gong to donate plasma and then I get free parking, I went to the library to get Season four of the True Blood TV series on DVD. The problem with this is that it's the same branch that had their only copy of Dead Lions, and I just couldn't resist, LOL!!
