Diana (secondhandrose) | 73 comments Yesterday my brother and I went to a Balinese bookshop. My brother bought an Indonesian cookbook for friends and I bought a kids travel guide to Bali for my great nieces and great nephew who are travelling here in 2020. I also bought a copy of Where the Crawdads Sing as my online book club is reading it next and the number of reserves at the library are crazy.

Gloria (Ms. G's Bookshelf) (gloriaarthur) | 378 comments Received QBD vouchers for Xmas totalling $130, what to buy? 😍

Wow! Have you got to use it soon? Or can you spread it out?

message 5967: by Niamh (new)

Niamh | 497 comments I was given an inscribed copy of Customer Service Wolf : comics from the retail wilderness by Anne Barnetson (a local author for me - she works at my local indie bookshop, hence the inscribed copy) as a Christmas present. Very relatable for anyone who has ever worked in customer service of any form, but mainly retail. A quick read when you have a spare hour. Also received a couple gift vouchers for Dymocks, totalling $120. Same as Gloria, what to spend it on?!
