Someone suggested James Rollins to me and I disliked the first book. I've been told it's the worst one, so I do want to try him again, I just haven't yet. I had read the first book of Andy McDermott's Chase & Wilde series years ago so I decided to give that a try and I do like him. Not over the top like Reilly, but definitely a ton of action. Jeremy Robinson's Chess Team is good for tons of action as well.
Once you go Matt Reilly, it's hard to go back. :) And Great Zoo has Lucky. Lucky is awesome! :)

Imagination Meg ~ Glad to have you. I hope you have a ton of fun as well! Sounds like you are one smart chick! :)
Eldarwen ~ You didn't want to tell us 4 things about yourself? :) That's the fun part of these, I love learning about others. I already know you enjoy Chris Carter like I do, and I guess you enjoy Zafon as well? I LOVED Shadow of the Wind. I enjoyed Prince of the Mist, but didn't like the next one in the series at all. I hope you do have fun!! :)

Hey Indiwyn! I love Cinder - you should totally finish the series because the last book is the best one!
Indiwyn wrote: "- I have a one-eyed cat named Jasper and she's the most adorable little fluff ever"
I have three cats, but mine is quite obviously cuter than yours :). Did you get Jasper from a shelter, or did something else happen to its eye?
Indiwyn wrote: "- I love Disney, Muppets, cartoons, and all kinds of things I'm too old for"
I totally understand - my friend was over recently and we watched Frozen and sang the songs - even though we kind-of hate them because they are overplayed. Cartoons are the best though.
Anyway, it was nice "meeting" you and everyone else on this thread. Good luck with the challenges!

It is so beautiful and relaxing! I wish we could go to Disneyland more often, but DW is our home because it's faster to get to lol. But I made a point of having a reservation so we could experience both time we visited. My mom remembered it from when she went as young women. She loved being able to go back with my brother and me. I can't wait for us to make another trip out to CA!

I do enjoy watching Disney movies. As well as other animated children's movies!!
I had a question for the ladies that play video games. Do any of you play on Xbox 360 or Xbox One? My gamertag is jeskalillis, if anyone wants to add me.

MFA is a Masters of Fine Arts, so people who studied Creative Writing in school (for example). I moved to England because my husband got a job as a professor at a university here. The weather and the dark winters have taken some getting used to, but I am really enjoying the chance to explore new places within GB and Europe.

I have both, but I don't play them as often as my PC. Jexball is my name on just about everything. What types of stuffs do you play?
For all the Disney talks, I grew up going to Disneyland about every other year but hadn't ever made it to World until recently. Last November I made it disneyworld for the first time and my now fiance proposed. Little did he know he's now made Disney a big part of us and I'll be forcing him to go back lots and lots!

Where in AZ are you? I'm in Tucson, though technically I'm in unincorporated Tucson and one of our driveway exits leads to Pima County while the other dumps you in Oro Valley. lol ;-)

I always wanted to live in California....looks like I missed it by one state :) I live in Prescott Valley. I was just in Tucson for the Book Festival this last weekend. I have been to Seattle and from Bellevue to Steven's Pass. I thought it was beautiful up there.

Lol....My three kitties are cuter than both yours .... just kidding. All cats are cute.

I guess I'm glad I grew up there, but I'm more glad to be out of California. (When I say "California," I usually mean "southern California." Northern California is like an entirely different world.)
You're not too far from Flagstaff. I like Flagstaff: mountains, seasons, trees. . . So different from life here in the Sonora Desert.
I've never been to the Book Festival. I always mean to go when I read about it upcoming in the paper, but I always forget about it on the day/s of. How was it? Worth going?
I have to agree that it's beautiful up in western Washington. Eastern Washington is beautiful, too, but different. Western Washington is where my heart resides. So green! And with the mountains and the water right there. I really, really loved it there and miss it more and more every day.
:-)
