I know Scarlet annoyed me until the last few chapters. I wouldn't read it but I committed myself for the B6 card and unfortunately I hate starting a series and not finishing it.....call it my own OCD.......
But I just looked at the spreadsheet and I don't have to read it because someone else already completed the B6 Card...... Great. i may still read it but now I don't feel I have to for the team...... :)

You know, I loved reading the first two books. This book, for some reason, I am finding very hard to focus on. I don't know if it's me or if it's the book. I really don't want to give up on it but at the same time ....

April is a month for celebrations. We all know of April Fools, but there are so many more celebrations in April. Have you ever heard of the International Snailpapers Day, Chocolate-Covered Cashews Day or the International Marconi Day? No? Well, those are only a few of those you might have missed. So join in and let's celebrate April!

This is an optional mini challenge for our UNO players.
◈ Books started after April 13 and read between April 13 - April 30 count.
◈ Books started before April 13th do not count

Tokyo: 5pm, 13th April
London: 9am, 13th April
New York: 4am, 13th April
San Francisco: 1am, 13th April )

Welcome back. Hope you had a good holiday.
Just finished The Atlantis Complex Card #7 for number 7 book in the ARTEMIS FOWL series
Card #4 for Character Foaly
Card# 6 for Character Holly Short
Card # 8 for Author's name Eoin Colfer
I just finishedRare Objects byKathleen Tessaro. Can be used for Draw 2 character names Michael Fanning and May aka Maeve Fanning or card 2 for author surname Tessaro
Just finished White Cat and was surprised I liked it :) I had read the Faerie series by this author and did not enjoy it...maybe it was just the genre...
I noticed in hand 6 you put this book in one of the card 4 spots. Do you not want to use it for the Draw 2? I had 2 different characters with the last name Fanning. Michael Fanning and Maeve Fanning. If you need another character with different last name we can use Mickey Finn. Just thought I would check..... here is my original post about completing the book it also fits with card 7 Character name James Van De Laars....I just finishedRare Objects byKathleen Tessaro. Can be used for Draw 2 character names Michael Fanning and May aka Maeve Fanning or card 2 for author surname Tessaro
Lisa, I leave it up to Lori how she wants to use the draw and wild cards, I update the spreadsheet, add cards to the hand and let Lori use her magic for changing around for special cards :)*I've updated the spreadsheet so she can leave or mix
One quick question about the Mini Bingo Challenge. I started the book Rare Objects on April 13th. Can it be used for the mini bingo challenge? ( I am unclear because of what the rules say "◈ Books started after April 13 and read between April 13 - April 30 count.◈ Books started before April 13th do not count"
I started it after 12:00pm Central time (I live in Panama City Florida) on April 13th....
If it can count for the mini challenge I have a few slots for you to choose from.
1. Adopt a Greyhound month (Character Diana buys a dog his name is Henry).
2. National Card and Letter Writing Month (Character Maeve and Mr. Winshaw write letters back and forth throughout the story also in the last chapter Diana sends a post card to Maeve.
3. National Beer Day 7th of April ( The book was published in April.)
thanks
I finished The Year of the Hare by Arto Paasilinna yesterday 4/14/2016. I give it 2 and a half star. It was an interesting concept. However, the way the author moved the flow of the story from one direction to another, threw me off at times . Can be used for a skip card if you use the author's last name.
Or #7 card for the character's name Vatanen.

I can take National Hairball Day...for another challenge I'm only allowed to read covers with cats!So plenty for me to pick from ;)
Ugh, I hate not finishing series that I start, but I believe the book I just finished has put the final nail in this series for me. There are other books after this one, but no thank you, I'm done!Kitty in the Underworld

Also, unsure if anyone else is, but this Saturday (April 23rd) is Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon. I'll be participating, so I'm sure I'll have quite a few books to add shortly.
