Same thing happened to me. I thought at the beginning of glass sword that it had been a couple of months after the ending of red queen but it was only a few hours. Confused the hell out of me because it had been a year since I had read "Red Queen" that's why I prefer to marathon books, so when I finish one book I'm am still immersed in that world and can continue the story until it is complete.
Judging by her last book, I think in the next one she will drudge up all the feels + make us bleed (pun intended)
Yay finally another Maven hater. I swear I see too many maven lovers it makes me sick. I hope they all realise that now with his mother gone that he is still the same sick bastard that he always was even without being under this mothers thumb.
Tell that to the Mavy lovers. The only person she is going to love has to be Cal. I don't even really care that much for Kilron personally he's too much like peeta from the hunger games which is useless.
Unfortunately I think he will be sticking it out until the last book, just to make things dramatic and then hopefully he dies in battle and not by the hands of Cal or Mare tho it would give me pleasure to see that. But I just think they would never forgive each other if either of them killed him.
That's how I felt when nothing really happened with Mare and Cal, I was waiting soo long for at least a kiss to pass between them but nothing ever did. What made me even more furious was in the end when she said that she should have told Cal that she loved him I was like " well you had your chance now you will be Maven's lap dog for all of book 3 how reassuring"

Has anyone read her Novell "Queen Song " it's about Cals mother. I really enjoyed it, it was too short would loved to have read more about her.
