Tamara Jordan | 7 comments There is this book that I found real interesting I read as a kid. I would say it's
Horror/scifi. I do not remember any of the names of the characters the book or
Author. I think it was published during the 90's to early 200's
I believe it took place during Halloween and the protagonist is a boy
All I remember is he was in a chat room online when all a sudden he starts getting
Weird emails from a unknown person and later on he get sucked into this virtual world
And has to defeat the headless horseman to get back. He goes on all
These adventures in this other dimension. I have other memories but I think
It may be possibly that I'm mixing two books together because I remember two of the covers the one about the chatroom has like a green tint and an old fashioned computer from the 90s with green computerized words on the computer and an ominous green light is coming out of the screen. The other book(may be the same) has a kid looking into a mirror his hair is turning white and an old man in the mirror is smiling. Still a boy as protagonist he ends up going into the world of sleepy hollow.i know if you died in the world you died in real life. He goes on many adventures I think he finds out that he's descended from Icabob crane so he's the only one that can stop the headless horseman. I remember him starting to get old I think rip van wrinkle was evil and traded places with the boy. He could like talk to the boy in his head and the boy always had to solve riddles. The boy had a female friend I believe. Who believed that he was just a boy even tho he looked like an old man. It(both) were kids books. That's all I can remember and the fact I really enjoyed it (them) I really want to read it again. I've looked on google and nothing fits.

Andy | 2124 comments Next to the title of the thread is the word "edit" - if you click that, you can get to the drop down list that lets you move the thread to a different forum (childrens/solved for this thread, probably)

Near the title of the post there's an edit button, click on it and then change the folder from Unsolved to one of the Solved ones that best fits the book. Hope this helps:)

Ruzza | 296 comments Your title should look like this:
UNSOLVED > I have been looking for this for years!! (edit)

Click on edit. The edit is in a smaller font than the title and it's green.

Thanks Ruzza. Note: The "Edit" link only appears on the desktop, not mobile, website.

I added a brief description of the book to Topic header. This might help other members if they look for this book in the future.
