Some of the key details include:
*there are I think 6 books.
* she was I think 11 or 12. Maybe even 13.
* She lived on another planet where people had powers. They received their powers when they turned a certain age. They got their powers because of a crystal ball
*the powers were things like speaking to plants, insects, seeing aura's, etc.
*the main character in the first book was peer pressured into stealing her crystal ball and as a result it broke. The remaining books are about her finding the shards.
*The last book (I only read the first and the last) she had to do a sort of obstacle course that made her revisit her previous challenges. Near the end of the book she went to a clinic or something and her mentor was in a coma. She noticed there wasn't an aura around her and she told the nurse. The nurse realized her condition (the sick mentor was from another planet where they can lose their aura's).
*it was revealed that she could communicate with plants (like her father and mother) and could also see people's aura's. Having two gifts was uncommon.
*one of her friends could speak with Bugs.
*there was a girl that was a bully to her. She bullied her because she was jealous of her and her mom was constantly telling her to be like her.
*There was another girl named Willow that the main character was jealous of at first, but she became friends with her.
* I think the planet or maybe the farm her parents owned started with a K.
* The girl on the main cover was extremely beautiful and it had a roughish texture. I also got the first book at Walmart and the 6th book through a book order.
