The detour says word-by-word:
Read a book that has been on your "t..."
Agree! And I think I read in the original rules/sign up that the teams could make those types of decisions....if you want me to find it, let me know.

Any questions about how to play the game (i.e. need clarification of a rule) you can ask the NBRC Travel Agent
If you have questions like "Is this book yellow enough for the 'Read a book with a yellow cover' detour'? " You can ask your fellow players in this thread
The travel agent may stop by here occasionally, but as this is a self managed challenge, we are relying on you and your peers to help with answering each other's questions. You can also refer to the Goal FAQ spreadsheet.

I have 900+ books in my Kindle alone that are waiting to be read....

It was worth the wait.
I have 4 or 5 other books that I added at the same time but they are still priced out of range.

900 books Angie... oh dear... you can do it!! :)
Helen I also tend to buy (more) books when they are discounted. So sometimes the waiting is worth it.
And I must confess - I guess I'm from "the previous generation", lol, because I still read only books which allow me to feel the pages between by fingers and when you first open the book - smell the scent of the unread new book...
(so no audios or pdf files or other e-books fo me... for now (at least) - one day I gotta keep up with the world :))

For NBR of chapters, I am going to read Forgotten & Remembered: The Duke's Second Wife with 44 chapters by Bree Wolf. The is the first time I have read a book by this author.

Helen, 44 chapters is unfortunately too much for this detour :(
To fit the task it has to be book with 21-30 chapters.
I haven't found one yet... this is the most difficult detour for me :D

Gifted Thief by Helen Harper with 26 chapters.
Thanks for keeping me on track.

I really like Coehlo's books, because every book contains inspiring and insightful spiritual messages. You read the sentence, think about it for a while and find how true it is what he has said.
Some of his books influence you more and some less, but I like to read his books from time to time.
Quote: “Infatuation was a good thing. It gave spice to life, and added to its enjoyment... But it was different from love. Love was worth everything, and couldn't be exchanged for anything.”

I found the Harry Dresden series amazing also. I was able to get from Talking Books for my brother (he is blind) and he liked it also.

Rather sorry this is the last stop. I have enjoyed traveling with all of you.

Yes! yes! yes! I´m so in!!! :)
I really like this challenge - because it demands only 1 book a week and all members can contribute in the same amount.

YAY!! I'm in too! I agree - the challenge is very doable and I love the travel theme!

Currently I am getting through Brandon Sanderson books. I wasn't expecting to enjoy his characters so much, but they are just so good.

After that we are upgraded to Business Class!!
Shy will you travel with us?
And Martina... wow from Italy to Japan, seems to me a hudge cultural shock! :)

This was a sad and cruel story written in such warmhearted way as possible it is to write about child labour. Though it is children's book and really easy read I couldn't hold back the tears in the end.
Do we think about who may have made the things (we don't even really need) when we buy cheap goods made in China... India.. etc?
Yes, this book touched my heart.

I'm quite afraid of the cultural shock but what I'm really scared of not having books with me XD I'll go for University Overseas experience :) I have studied Japanese for three years now, but I still can read only childrens' books, written Japanese is really hard :(
But if I arrive and find out I could keep up with english books or some pdf/ebooks, I will be one of the team for another round....Business Class sounds great :D

I'm excited for you - I bet this will be experience of a lifetime!
It's so fantastic that we are all together going to a next trip!
Thanks team! :)

I'm all done with my books and waiting for my next assignment :))

I'm also done :)
I think I will ask for the next trip-plan (business class tickets) in the next message to the Travel Agent.
Until then.. I guess we just have to enjoy... and have time to fulfill our other challenges... hehehee
I confess that I'm a challenge addict, so I have many of them going at the same time. I especially love team-challenges.
Dima, I have noticed that we are both also doing the UNO challenge :)

Shy, what's your read for this stop - did you find anything with suitable amount of chapters?
