I'm not sure what happened. I didn't see it on the list. The write-in part of this poll isn't very user friendly. You're there now, though.

Mine, for one is on Smashwords (in addition to Amazon). They seem pretty awesome in that you can change your price at will -- across multiple distributors (although this can take a day or two to populate), or simply offer a coupon with a percentage off the cover price.

I used to have our books on Smashwords and I agree those are great reasons to keep them. We didn't seen any sales on Smashwords for a whole year so I decided to go Amazon Exclusive at least for awhile.

I was wondering if sharing a book via Smashwords would help resolve Lily's issue which is definitely a valid one where sales are concerned. I still do not think that is fair. If an author wishes to promote his/her book by reducing the cost temporarily then it should go on sale globally. Then again there may be some kind of International rule that I'm unaware of at the moment.

Just re-read Rule #2 and maybe Lily should too. It might make her feel better.

Actually there's been some discussion about about the option of this club to lower the price to 99 cents and have everyone also buy the chosen book at the lowered discount to also further the support of the author. Although, this might be a "next time" thing.
