If not, I'll find another book!"
Yes - I thought it was just title - but found this in the airport lounge:
Spell-it-out rules
Using the first letter in the book’s title, the first letter of the series name, the first letter in the author’s first or last name, or the first letter of a character’s first, last, or nick-name, or the first letter in the audiobook narrators first or last name.
If you are reading a translated version, you can also use the first letter of the translator's first or last name.
As always, if the first letter of a title starts with ‘A’, ‘An’, ‘The’, etc., you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word.

We started yesterday - so it has to be a book finished after 13th (although it probably was 12th USA time)
So this won't count

I am - it is full on and I have to confess I am very confused - still I am reading and posting and letting my Captains figure out where to put it :)

I am as well. And yes, it does seem like a ton of work for the captains. You would've made a great captain Sally! That challenge seemed quite confusing at first. It seems like our captains/team has finally settled on a way to do it that's working but it took until yesterday to get it all together. I wonder if each new game will be so confusing when it starts up. I know there's always little kinks to work out, etc. We have one girl who's ready to leave the team and challenge because she's so upset over being confused by everything. I hope she'll try to stick it out, but I don't want her to be upset either. Challenges should be fun.

Spell it out for a D!
Anyone else getting caught up with the Wobble?"
the Wobble is funnnnnn!

Are we on the same team because I have one of those too? I actually think she may have just stopped participating. We have two MIA members right now.

The Collected Stories of Vernor Vinge
As with most short story books some were good some were bad and I'm not sure why this was on my TBR but it was OK
as a side note:
First the back story- I'm not fat, not thin. My hair isn't blond or brown or grey (thank you Natasha) I'm not short or tall or gorgeous or unattractive. I'm a middle aged (plus) introvert happily married for 33 years. I don't wear a ring though. So How to pick up seemingly financial secure middle aged men who may read a bit:
1: Take the metro or other public transportation to a professional baseball game alone wearing a home team shirt.
2: Read a trade sized Science Fiction book on the metro. I think the science fiction part is a must. I have never been approached with such purpose while reading before. When you are not reading keep the book out of your backpack. (this attracted 3 men total on 3 different trains)
3: during down times at the game start reading. This got me 2 offers of beer.
4: Make sure you have your "don't talk to me" face on.
Weirdest game I've gone to.
Vernor Vinge -middle aged man magnet.
Are there any (non best seller) books you were reading while out that got people talking to you?

What's the next stop?

Yes just Tally and Jodie :)

Spell it out for Valdivia?
7. Kona (US) - Valdivia [Chili](CL) - Doing
Read a book where the author uses a suffix (Jr, Sr., III)
Valdivia would give us each one letter for a spell-it out - not sure who easy it would be to find a book set in Chili
