Suzanne wrote: "Haven't read this series, on my TBR list and have a couple already bought. How did the author change? Style or storyline?"

Lucy Arlington is a pseudonym. A different author, Susan Furlong, wrote the last two books of this series. Ellery Adams (Jennifer Stanley) wrote the first three.

Shelley (rivertam) | 10 comments Nell I have read the first two books and really enjoyed them is there a big difference? Do you know if switching back and forth?

Dawn | 62 comments It is looking liking like I am over my reading slump. About to start To Brew or Not to Brew (Brewing Trouble, #1) by Joyce Tremel . Hope it is a good one.

message 254: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne Thanks Julsey and Nell. Know both authors and their work. Will be interesting to compare.

I am reading Mr. Tea and the Traveling Teacup A Madeline's Teahouse Mystery (Madeline's Teahouse, #1) by Leslie Matthews Stansfield for my bingo group and so far love it. In fact taking day off from yard work just to enjoy this book all day. I'm also reading The Quiche of Death (Agatha Raisin, #1) by M.C. Beaton but was glad to have bingo challenge book to read. Waiting in the wings is Town in a Blueberry Jam (A Candy Holliday Mystery, #1) by B.B. Haywood . Hope that is as good as Town in a Strawberry Swirl

Drat! I was just thinking that I'd try and read cozies from series I've already started and gotten behind on, and now I've added the first book in two new series: Decanting a Murder and Mr. Tea and the Traveling Teacup: A Madeline's Teahouse Mystery.

Dawn - I really enjoyed To Brew or Not to Brew.

Suzanne jaxnsmom, I am really enjoying Mr, Tea and the Traveling Tea Cup.

message 260: by BLynne (new)

BLynne I think it's time to return to the cozy mystery genera. I'm starting the book A Witch Before Dying by Heather Blake. After the last two books I finished I think I need something on the lighter side of life.

Good to hear, Suzanne.

I read Here Today, Gone Tamale A Taste of Texas Mystery by Rebecca Adler Here Today, Gone Tamale: A Taste of Texas Mystery for a task in a challenge. I wonder if it fits one of the 2000 member one. I really liked it. Now it's time to get back to Off Kilter :~D

I absolutely love the Kate Carlisle Bibliophile mysteries!

message 266: by Susan (new)

Susan Webb I just found Molly Macrea's Last Wool and Testament. I rather enjoyed it. I have read a few better but it was good enough it kept me guessing. There were a few things that I felt the author rushed through, but hoping in the subsequent books she delves into them. Looking forward to reading the rest of them

Dawn | 62 comments Just finished reading To Brew or Not to Brew. What a great start to a new series. I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great and I liked the setting. One thing I learned is that there are many different beers out there, more than I just thought. (Not typically a beer drinker.) This book was a 3.5 stars for me but gonna round up to 4 stars because I am looking forward to the next book. Not sure what book to read next.
