Debra (debra_t) | 6542 comments 999: Twenty-nine Original Tales of Horror and Suspense is the book I have in mind. However, it has an editor and 29 authors. What should I use for author?

We ignore sub-titles, so just the 999 will count for title, and for the author, we will use the editor.

Lara | 1426 comments I've been gophering and still haven't decided what book I'll read, but do have a question. Would Living in Threes count even though the number is plural?

message 104: by Jannene (new)

Jannene | 3124 comments Will The 5th Witch work? I only ask since it is a combo of Cardinal and ordinal numbers.

Sarah | 18550 comments I've started listening to number9dream. It's a long audiobook of 16hrs so i'm not sure whether i'll finish it in time. If i do great, if not it can count for geocaching. I'm intending on reading a print book with a number in the title too as backup.

If I hadn't already read it twice, I might have picked that one! It is a great story.

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Janice - I started my SH anthology. The first story was FANTASTIC! Thank you for giving me the excuse to buy it and read it this month.

I have wanted to read this for a long time! I am somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, and I often wonder how things would be today if JFK was never assassinated.

I agree with Janice. I hope you like it. I blasted through it because I could not put it down, and as soon as I got to the end, I started over again, a little slower, after the adrenaline rush.

message 121: by Travis (new)

Travis (travistousant) | 6011 comments I read Havana Nocturne: How the Mob Owned Cuba & Then Lost it to the Revolution awhile back. The mob invites Kennedy down kbowing he was a ladies man. Put him in a room with a one way mirror and put 4-5 ladies in there and sat back and watched the show. He was still a senator. Later they realized they should have taken photos. They did it for their own enjoyment. One of the mobsters oit of Florida made mention a couple times in his life of doing so and so like they did Kennedy. Except they had a nickname for him. Among the mob it is firmly velieved the guy from Florida put the hit on Kennedy and the shot came from a mobster but they had paid Oswald to be in the room with the gun. Possibly even paid him to take the shot. That is why he was caught so quick the mob called it in. Can't rememver if it was Tropicana in Florida or what the guys name was now though.

message 122: by Shirley J (last edited Feb 02, 2016 05:03PM) (new)

Shirley J (fastreader) Had quite a few to pick from in my TBR pile. I know someone who is waiting to read this one, so that made the choice easy:

One Man's Wilderness: An Alaskan Odyssey

I decided that I was going to read this one for the challenge as well. I may have read it years ago as I recall the story on the plane.
