Right, and I'm sure most of us will end up reading other books than what we had planned initially. It's always good to have a starting plan though.
Ok, sorry I haven't checked in I didn't realise team threads were up yet. It looks like you guys have sorted everything out but I would very much like to join in so let me have a look and a think and I'll sort it all out tomorrow- if that's ok
Okay i found one for Suit and Or Forever Hold Your Peace and Adult. Updated my list :D I will be putting holds for most of my books in tonight so i'll know for sure which ones i can get a hold of ASAP. luckily i have access to 2 different library branches :D
@Rebecca we sorted out the things but it's just to give us an idea. As soon as you post your list we'll arrange things around, obviously!!! :)@Brooke That's great! :)
No, it's right, we have to read at least 12 book, but in the "planning" I've just signed the first round :) We would arrive at 12 each with at least the second round :)

from the library9. make up or Jewellery on the cover (or title)-
10. A man in a suit on the cover- Really can't think of any for this

12. ring(s) on the cover,-

17. Book with a man on the cover (best man)-
18. Book with a woman or girl on the cover (bridesmaid)-

27. A book tagged as 'wedding' on Goodreads- Can i come back to this one
28. An Adult novel- Can I come back to this one
29. Shoes on the cover (or title)-
30. a beach or location for a honeymoon (this can either be on the cover, or a location from a book, again, if you want to honeymoon in Narnia that's fine)-

Part 4 - The Happily Ever AfterRead books whose titles start with the following letters:
F.
O.
R.
E.
V. will come back to this one
E.
R.
I will try to read as many as I can but next month is already looking quite busy so I may not be able to read all of them. Does each reader have to complete the categories or is it a group effort on each category?
That's great! :)We are trying to do an effort as a group because all the books are really a lot! And if we try as a group we have more chance to finish more categories and earn more point.
Tomorrow evening if it's ok with you all I'll post a new "schedule" for the first round and insert your reading too, so we can try for the best result :)

For example, even if I had two books that fit the 'ring on the cover' category, I could only do one.
That sounds great :) and I will try to read to your schedule. Also I apologise for not responding to the group chat earlier, I honestly just didn't notice teams were up.
I'm intending to start with
. It doesn't fit any of my assigned categories though. I'm sure we can swap something around, but it may take most of the month since it's lengthy. Just a head's up.
Abby wrote: "I'm intending to start with

If you think that you wouldn't because this one is really long you have to tell it to Sarah and Abby, so they can switch you on a fun team :)
So... I'll try to not count you in the first round, so you have more time for your book and if you remain with us it's not a problem, you'll go with the second turn, and if you change team we try to cover :)
rebeccasneverendingbookshelf wrote: "That sounds great :) and I will try to read to your schedule. Also I apologise for not responding to the group chat earlier, I honestly just didn't notice teams were up."It was not a problem :)
And the schedule is just a suggestion :)
So, I've tried to redo the schedule without Abby, that maybe would be active more far in the month or maybe would change group.. so we'll see. But for now, we try to do so:Part 1 - The Bride and Groom

It's just a suggestion and it could happen that we want or need to read books for task that are not ours in this round (maybe I have to read a book for another challenge that can count for "champagne" that now is assigned to Brooke. I can read it and count it for the next round. (And I speak about me for the example but it's about everyone!).And also we can change with someone, and if we read all the book for this turn we can go on and read for the next or read for this one (example: maybe I've read 5 of my assignation and Brooke has finished. So she want to read some books that can cover the next round but that can also cover some of my goal for this round. All she has to do is say to me: I've a book for the "R" and I want to read it now, I'll take your place for this round" and it's done. I'll read the R book for the next.).
I've tried to write some example just to shows that the schedule is a suggestion for a team effort, but that it's not set in stone, we can make change, we can go ahead and then came back later, and we all can read at our own pace!
It's that good for you? (I can be a little bit bossy, but I really do not want to boss you around, girls, so I'm sorry if it seems so! :) )
That seems like a really good idea! That way if someone uses a book for the next round it won't take as much to complete that round either!
I didn't mean that would be the only book I'd be reading. I'll just be reading a bit of it at a time with other books in between. I'll definitely be finishing a lot of other books during the first round.
Heather wrote: "Abby you are quite the genius! Lol I am reading Outlander a little bit at a time!"I own the whole set on Kindle and I read one every couple of months or so. I've read them for challenges in the past and it doesn't interfere much at all when you read smaller books in between.

Was book 1 super slow paced to you?
I actually didn't care for the first one too much after I read it. But after watching the TV series and letting it stew in my mind for a while, I warmed up to it and now I really enjoy the book series.
the plan looks great Sibil and you guys are now making me want to read Oulander which I've had for a while but haven't got round to reading
I'm sorry Abbie! I've completly misunderstood!!! Sorry!!! :( Or later or tomorrow I'll insert you too in the first reading! :)
Sibil wrote: "I'm sorry Abbie! I've completly misunderstood!!! Sorry!!! :( Or later or tomorrow I'll insert you too in the first reading! :)"No worries, Sibil. It did look like I meant reading that book all month! :)
oh are you participating in the challenge? I didn't know if you got added to our team lol sorry if I came off rude!
Go comment on the Wedding Challenge main thread to see if they can place on you on a team! We were placed in these teams

Is it ok for all?
@Heather: we ask the point with the review as usual and then if the mods do not check out our progress in the progress' thread I'll do it :) and every now and then we'll regroup here to plan if there is the need :)@Abby it was a pleasure! :)
I think that we could also do some buddy reads for
because I, Brooke and Rebecca listed it. If you girls are ok with it we can organize something (and gain more point). The same think it would be possible for
: Rebecca listed it and I own it (I didn't think of it for the challenge, but I can read it with you) and I am not sure at 100% but I think I can manage also a buddy read for
that Brooke has listed (i think I own it on my e-readers, but I'll know for sure later). So what do you think, girls?
