Chapter 34(view spoiler)[Isabeau is so adorable. It’s so sad that she is sick. I have a feeling that she is going to die but I could be wrong. 35% Well I am super liking this so far. (view spoiler)[ Honestly its a little weird because we have this story that is seemingly more like a historical spy/crime solver thing going on and then these interwoven supernatural aspects that no one in the story really seems to bat an eye at.. I like it. Its just a little jarring, like in the same way as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies this is a little jarring but fun at the same time. (hide spoiler)]

55% - (view spoiler)[ Well this is being drug out in an infuriating way.. we have been basically standing on the edge of the void of knowledge for oh so long, plans are failing left and right. I don't feel like we are 1 step ahead and that is frustrating. I was kind of hoping for a more Six of Crows vibe where the assassin is always one step ahead even if we don't realize it, however its seeming to be more like lets scrounge up plan after plan to counteract the strategies of others.. I'm really just wanting more of the supernatural aspect to be really real. There is lots of vague shade thrown at "Who makes the decisions of who to kill at the Abby" I'm beginning to become suspicious of the abby. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ Mostly a good read. There was just barely enough to keep my interest going.. Honestly from like the time she arrives at court to like the end reveals the plot really seemed to drag. Things were happening but they were mostly minor and to be really honest I felt at times like we were in a "side character's" POV like the story was happening but none of it really truly involved the FMC there in the middle. Everything interesting was happening all around her. Of course during the whole thing there was alot of "Who are You?" from everyone around her like she wasn't the main character in this story. It was interesting and a tad odd. I really liked the supernatural aspect and would have loved to see way more where that was concerned.. Probably give this a 3.5 star. I'm thinking on it though. Prolly a 3.5 for me. The beginning and the end were awesome, the middle kind of drug out a little for me. It was definitely good enough to continue the story and see what else is going to happen. I haven't looked to see or not whether the next in the series is about the same FMC? There wasn't a cliffhanger but its doesn't feel like the ending yet.

Yep thats what I thought just looked it up and it seems like the next 2 books are about the other 2 trainees. I'm sure we will get somewhat of a continuation of this story as well, but the next two books will follow the other girls stories.
