Thank you very much.

Thank you very much and I am sure hubby and our kids will not let me overdo, they look out for me.

I'd like to see that link! Were they focusing on the ambulatory-schizophrenia traits or the grandiosity?

"Worthwhile" and "draining" are two perfect adjectives for my job. If I had an alter ego I would put her to work learning to reconstruct faces on unidentified skulls.

OMG. Count Trumpula. Love it.

Right now I adjust manually when I think of it.

Wait, ratings of what? What is Calibre?

Calibre is the most popular (and free) ebook management software around. I record everything in there and have used it for years. Lots and lots of flexibility. You can convert ebook from one format to another too. Easy to use but you can get fancy.
When I add an ebook into Calibre, it adds metadata (ratings, summary, tags, cover, etc.) to the book from whatever source I want. I use Amazon and Goodreads metadata.

Encourage all your friends and family who have read the book to post a review to cheer you up! lol (I mean...tell them to be honest and everything but chances are they will be nice reviews teehee).

A big thing to remember is that Goodreads is a site for Readers, not for Authors, although it caters to authors to some extent. Always come at things from your reader viewpoint here and things will go better.
If you need some reviews, check out the review groups here on Goodreads; for example, Review Group here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
This is what's called a Non-Reciprocal Review Group; in other words, you agree not to review the books of anyone who has reviewed you to avoid any appearance of reciprocal reviewing agreements. It is set up with a database to avoid such clashes. Basically you agree to read four books in exchange for four reviews from other, impartial, authors, who are getting their own reviews from yet other people (you can also join as strictly a reader).
Best of luck!

Any feedback is good - it helps me improve ... its just sometimes ... perhaps I need thicker skin.

Off subject - your bio says that you have two Australian cattle dogs. Are they Blue Healers or Kelpies?

One's a blue heeler and one's a red heeler. The red is a female, 14 years old, and the blue is a male, 6 years old. They are both rescues and both involved in K9 Nosework. And they are both asleep on the couch at the moment!
By the way, Michael, the Amazon link from your book doesn't seem to be working. Not sure where the glitch is, you might want to check.

Thanks K.A., Amazon US have also somehow mixed up my bio. The have used another author with the same name! Amazon Aust. is correct though.
Heelers are such wonderful loyal dogs.

Yes that's true ....

To confuse things even further, in some places what you're referring to as a Kelpie is called a Silkie, and Kelpies are also horses in some places. But the ones we're talking about are herding dogs:

Along with Scotch merle collies and dingoes, and a bit of Dalmation, they are the ancestors of Australian Cattle Dogs.

That is one good looking pup.

Everybody is commenting on how the nice the color is, but I didn't do anything to the color. :)
