What's a TBR Pick-It-For-Me Challenge?

Like the name implies, those who participate in this monthly challenge will have a book selected for them by a partner. Partners will be randomly paired up. You will choose a book for your partner from their to read list (TBR), and they will choose one for you from your TBR list.

Once you have picked the book, come back to this thread and post what book you have chose for your partner. Also send a message to the person with the name of the book you have selected for them. Then when you're done with your book, come back to this thread and post your opinion so we know you have completed the challenge.

For this challenge, you need to either HAVE YOUR PROFILE SET TO PUBLIC (preferable) or make the person you're paired with your friend. I strongly advise keeping your bookshelves updated, otherwise you might end up with a recommendation for something that you've already read.

Sign up period will remain open until January 28 and you'll have until February 1 when someone decides not to participate.

Thank you for the picks. Not sure which book I will read. I will post when I have decided. To add book covers click on the add book/author tab at the top of the comment box. Once you search for the book you want to add make sure the cover button at the bottom of the box is highlighted not the link button. I hope this helps.

Sarah | 82 comments Thank you for the info. I guess that feature must be only on Goodreads' website via PC because the "add book/ author" doesn't appear in the comment box when I use the app. on my NOOK or cell.

Yes, it is on the website. I'm not a really big fan of the app because of its limitations.

I love witches, so I tend to devour any book that has them in it. :)

Sarah | 82 comments Hey Leigh,

So, I finished "Wicked" & really enjoyed it... Sucks that the 2nd book isn't out yet. I read "Me Before You" as well. Not my usual interest, but I was impressed by how knowledgeable the author was about quadaplics & the personal growth of the female protagonist. Reading the "Partials" now. Thanks again for the picks :-)
