If you think about it "the shine" as they call it is mostly very good or highly sensitive intuition. .
The Shining... i think it had something to do with the Mallet...and the blood. Lets not forget that. :D
Yeah, I figured. Why, why, why would one be impelled to choose the same blood spatter over and over again? Creepy...

Carrie for a few reasons; one have always gotten comments because my name is Carrie two because who has not thought of just messing people up that mess with them or should I say bully them :) I know a little demented but we all know it's true :)
I got Pet Semetary, which is odd because (barring The Stand and the Shining) it's one of the few classic King books that I haven't read.
I got the Stand, though one of my choices now bugs me...guess I should spoiler tag this bit for those who've not taken the quiz yet? (view spoiler)
I got The Gunslinger. I have to say though, and I realize this is just for fun, but these quizzes are always way too transparent for what the answer is gonna be that its obvious that they each just represent one of 9 books and then which ever one you get a higher average of selections on is "your book". Anyway, I probably just need to calm down lol.
I am 14 and would really like to start reading Stephen Kings 'The Shining'. Would it be suitable for my age group(14+)?
I read the shining when I was 16 he has way more adult books than that cujo the girl who loved Tom Gordon Christine Joyland I think u would be ok with
Tom wrote: "I got The Shining!"I have to say, as far as reading ages go, it really depends on the person, not the number of years they have lived! I have three children and never believed in censorship. If they wanted to read something I let them. If they weren't enjoying it, they set it aside. Having said that, let us know your thoughts when you begin reading. :D
