I've been desperately trying to finish one I'd started before doing another but thought I should be a good mod and join in!
THough it's a libretto, and not strictly fantasy, I'm sneaking in "The Last Five Years", since I think more people need to be made aware of this spectcualr play (and the equally spectacular [if downbeat] film adaptation.)
Finally getting to the "Divine Cities" books, which have been really highly recommended to me.First book is "City of Stairs", apparently.
Just finished "the Hollowing" which was weak and frankly, boring. Now reading "Azaroth & Sefalin" which is so far surprisingly good.

Mythago Wood was a monster sized favourite which I read many moon ago, but I found myself wading through The Hollowing. Maybe, after such a time lapse, I was expecting more.
Thanks!I've been lucky in that the stuff I've read has fallen into place pretty easily on this list.
I'm sure when it comes to the "X", "Z", (etc.), I'll have to start hunting.

Excellent, thus far! This series has blown me away. (In many ways, it reminds me of David Anthony Durhams Acacia: The War with the Mein series (which I also quite enjoyed.)
Nothing wrong with that! :)I tend to read a lot of "R" and "S"" authors. Not sure why, it just works out that way!
That's why this is a really fun challenge!
Do those count, too? I mean if we read more authors with one letter? I tend to read A´sAnd good job, Shadowdenizen! :)

Regarding authors with letters. I seem to read a lot of M authors. Or in the case of this challenge read one book and then want to read the next before starting another fantasy series.
Added The Vision, Vol 1: Little Worse Than A Man; funny that a comic is one of the higher ranked titles on my list thus far!
Not sure why it took me so long to get to The Map of Chaos; I read and loved both The Map of Time and The Map of the Sky...
