The original series is definitely worth the read if you ever get the chance. There are a lot of characters and parts of Oz that never made it into the movie. As for this one, I am definitely interested in how it all plays out. If she was under his spell the whole time, is the spell now broken? It is hard to tell from the ending. I will be putting a hold on the book at the library. I plan to read the next book in April.

Mine doesn't either but I was able to put it on interlibrary loan. It may be a week or so depending on where it comes from. It showed up as available in the Spark library system so I just have to wait until it gets to my library. Check with your library. They may be able to get you a copy from another library. I get one at least once a month from another library.

I had clicked on the link that Shy posted to the Beautiful Covers list and saw it there when I was looking for something to read.

Right, Goal Diggers posted their reviews yesterday, so it looks like they won.

There are several out there. I'm not too sure how long you need to wait, however there should be another SS starting soon.
Other groups:
Perk of Being a Book Addict has Uno that has just started
RRRC has pass the parcel, it's very similar to SS
AMMP has carnival bingo has just started
AMMP Game Night have several group games
NBRCSOS has BSB (bingo) that has just started
Stress Free Reading Challenges
You'll probably see some familiar faces in these groups
Hopefully I'll see you all when the next SS round comes around!

I think the Mods send out an email to all members when sign-ups are available, but I'll try to remember to message you too!

And yeah the end was so weird!"
I liked it but you are right book 1 is better. I just have a hard time seeing Dorothy as an evil witch. I have read the entire original series (15 books I think) and then another author has a spinoff that I have read a book or so of. I also noticed that there are several books where the original series left off where several authors continued the series starting with book 16. I haven't read those yet but only because I haven't found a copy of book 16 yet. I am enjoying seeing what could happen if Dorothy became evil though. It is kind of interesting to see how it plays out both ways.
