The Alternates:
Each number corresponds with the spot on the board.
For colors: The cover has to be at least 50%
For locations: As long as the book takes part at all in the given location .
For Shelves: Any book on the given shelf
For Publication Years: I'll be using how GR has it's publication date listed.
For Authors Names: The first, middle, or last name of the author is ok.
For Cover Items: Must have the given item on the cover
For Titles: Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count.
So if the letter is B: The Best Day would be ok. Dear Betty would not be ok.

i know we're in a couple of groups together but i think this is our first challenge together. It looks like we have one more to check in.
I'll be captain if no one else wants it.
Team name suggestions:
Go 4 it? Ravenous Readers? Fictioneers? 4 Star Reading? Fantastic Four? 4-Score!?

Some good names. I like Ravenous Readers of your picks.

Danielle likes Ravenous Readers ad I like Fictioneers & 4-Score so Berit we need you to break the tie.
If Mave joins us and wants to be captain she can be. Otherwise, I'll do the captain thing here.

I sent a message to Mave and I let Ezi know we're one short until she checks in.

I also pm'd her a short while ago. I am sure she will turn up.

thx

You can read book 6 of a series or read a book with a vehicle on the cover
Good Luck and happy reading!

Sorry Berit I didn't see this earlier. Per the original rule:
A team can NOT advance if all reviews are not in by the deadline. That being said, players need to have their reviews in on Wednesday (for the Thursday roll) and on Saturday (for the Sunday roll).

The Last possible time to turn in a review for Thursday roll would be Thursday 11:59p. Of course, your team will have a little less time to read their book as Sunday will roll around real fast.
Generally, the more competitive teams try to post their review by Wed 11:59pm, so their captain can roll at Thursday 12:01a. Likewise Saturday by 11:59pm, so their captain can roll at Sunday 12:01a.
Technically, you can turn in your review Thursday and Sunday. But your team captain CANNOT roll until all the reviews are posted.

Thank you, I neglected to mention the unwritten competitive rule.

I enjoyed this book. It's full of humour and craziness. I enjoyed the romance of Torren and Tru. There is a bit of suspense and mystery too that keeps you guessing. Plus I like seeing previous character show up.

How it fits (: sixth book in series
I haven't read a book in the series for quite some time, so it was nice to get back to these girls and their craziness! Another thing I like is it does now not completely mirror The television show, so I wasn't sure what was going to happen next. Spencer's parents are still clear candidates for worse parents of the year. The interactions between Hannah and Mike , We're cute and unexpected. Emily is dating a boy??? Aria is actually more reasonable in the book then in the TV show. Also the ending, definitely did not see that coming, looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

The Wedding Audition byCatherine Mann pages 153
01/16 3 stars
It was a pleasant and funny read but I was not impressed. It wasn't really romantic, the relationship between the two protagonists was cold for more than half of the story. I liked so much the setting, a farm with apple trees and many cats in a small town in Alabama. And I loved the grandmother, an old lady whimsical and intelligent.

I sent a PM to Mave reminding her we need her to complete so that we can roll at midnight central. Hopefully, she'll respond.

We've got choices!
We can read a book that is #0 or .5 or a stand alone book (min 150 pgs);
We can read #1 or #11 in a series or;
We can read any book from GR's 2001 shelf
GR 2001 Shelf
Our next roll is Thursday. Reviews should be in by Wednesday @ 11:59pm CST.
Happy reading Ladies

Berit as long as I don't have to use those dreaded GR lists I'm good!

Pretty enjoyable book. I like sport romances and I liked that in this book both the hero and heroine have a sport background with hockey. I liked both Dylan and Samantha, they had plenty of chemistry together.
