For Authors Names: The first, middle, or last name of the author is ok.
For Cover Items: Must have the given item on the cover
For Titles: Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count.

Hi Grace and Kayla, I'm Kay (Brigidsmomma) and I am not a stay at home mom, unless you count my fur children (4 cats, 2 greyhounds and a mutt). I AM a stay at home however, because I am disabled and I care for my disabled husband who has COPD and emphysema. I read and knit as my only hobbies, but read far more than I knit. I am also in Southern Missouri in Central time zone. I usually do most of my internet stuff in the morning hours, but am awake and usually reading long past midnight. This is my first SS challenge, however, so being a Captain is not something I'm really interested in.

Hello all! I'm Tara and from southern Illinois. I'm happily married with two children (3 and 8mo). I work as a bookkeeper, and I secretly envy those of you who are SAHMs. Just not in the cards for us at the moment. About the time it would be financially feasible, the kids will in high school.

I've never participated in this challenge, but I have been doing other challenges for the past year or so. So I'm not a good choice for captain. Can't wait to get started :)

being a sahm is great but some days has its days that is forsure. lol I recently started working part time at night when my husband gets off work to bring in extra income. lol

Haha, I got a glimpse of it while our daycare was closed for Christmas break. The first week was great. By Tuesday of the second week I was ready to be done.... It's definitely still a job in my opinion.

Haha tara... yep that's about it. christmas break my son was home for break and let me tell you. I couldn't wait for preschool again. it threw my son and daughter off their schedule. we are glad to have that back. Lol

Hello to Tara and to Krissy and welcome! Guess we are still waiting to hear from Jane and Mave... I think Kayla, since you have the experience, I'll go along with you being Captain... as for names, do we all want to make suggestions and then vote or what? Since we have a preponderance of SAHMs (counting me as one to my fur children since I never had skin kids and my step-kids all have kids as well), maybe we should be the SAHMs and friends?
