And I'm missing a review agan, from the same person and she isn't responding to my PM. Acording to the rules, a person who hasn't posted their review twice is excluded from the group. If I don't see her review by the midnight, can I still roll?

Have you used your free pass already?

Yes, then. If no review, then said person will be withdrawn and you can roll. Sorry, that sucks :(

The person we were waiting for posted her Review but Dora might be asleep I messaged her in game but it is about midnight her time is it Ok If I roll and let her post in mark your spot?
Just a quick question: My team rolled and now we're on spot 26. My next read is
, and it has a #2 in the series. Does that mean I can read it, but just review the second part and count that? Or can't I because I have the first and second together, so it isn't solely the second book?
That book would work like an anthology so you would need to read the whole book both 1-2. A short review is just fine.
just to let you know we are missing a review I just pm that person and will give her a little bit more time. We have used our free pass in a previous time.
If the missing person had previously missed a review (resulting in the use of your free pass) then 2nd missed turn will result in their disqualification from the group. If it's their first offense, then you may lose a turn :(
I'd keep on eye in the page to see when they last logged on to GR.
I'm sorry but I'm hopeful so keep your fingers, legs and eyes crossed they come in on time

If you guys don't want to wait to see if the missing person will turn up later today, then yes, your team may redeem their free pass now.
ThatEzi wrote: "If you guys don't want to wait to see if the missing person will turn up later today, then yes, your team may redeem their free pass now."I thought that until Friday 12 p.m. all books have to be posted.

a review isn't late until after Friday 11:59p.
So you have some time until then.

I am missing one review and we haven't heard from her.So, if she doesn't post by midnight does that mean we can't roll at all this week?
Our team is on #46 and the alternative category is Freebies. To qualify, does the book have to be on that list or does it need to meet the criteria of being a Freebie?

hmmmm, good question. The book should come from that link IF you choose to go the alternate route

Hey!On our list of spots, #59 is for the 2012 Goodreads Awards but it's not an actual link. I can't click on it to go anywhere. Is that just me/my computer or could I have you check that out quick to see?
Thank you!

Hey ThatEzi! Quick question. This week our team is choosing from the Best Book Ever shelf on listopidia. Does it matter how far down the book is on the list? This list has over 400 pages of books.
Kayla wrote: "Hey ThatEzi! Quick question. This week our team is choosing from the Best Book Ever shelf on listopidia. Does it matter how far down the book is on the list? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I've never landed on the publication year as the alternate before. Does the book have to be on the linked list or can it be any book published in the year?
LaurLa wrote: "I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I've never landed on the publication year as the alternate before. Lol. Im going to recruit JoAnne to help with this challenge. She's completely right. As long as the publication year as stated on Goodreads is the required year, you are good.
ThatEzi wrote: "Lol. Im going to recruit JoAnne to help with this challenge. She's completely right. As long as the publication year as stated on Goodreads is the required year, you are good."I don't mind adding my 2 cents but I'm not good with linking, etc.
Someday, maybe when I retire I can do more.
Keep up the good work!

Belinda wrote: "Would this work for a #9?
- listed as #9.5"Yes - per page 1 on this discussion thread
✸Half books: ½ or .5 count only if they meet the page requirement AND will be judged by preceding whole number numeral on goodreads.
Example: Spot 8: A MacKenzie Clan Gathering (MacKenzies & McBrides, #8.5) would count for spot 8 because it meets the page limit.
