message 8: by new_user (new)

new_user LOL. I always say it, but I loved the Bourne movies. :D

message 9: by new_user (new)

new_user The books are actually very different from the movies, but if you like the movies, you'll probably like at least the first book. That has the most similarity, imo. The others, maybe not, LOL.

message 10: by new_user (last edited Jul 21, 2009 09:59PM) (new)

new_user LOL. Yep, that's true. But for once, I actually liked the movies better in this case. At least for the second and third books. The first one was about even.

message 11: by new_user (new)

new_user Cool. :)

Where the Heart Is (except they made Ruby slender--in the book she was a big girl).

I know a lot of people don't like the Twilight movie, but I thought it captured most of what was in the book pretty well.

I wouldn't hound you, but I loved both the A&E and the theatrical versions.

I agree with you about The Color Purple, Loni. That book made me cry like nobody's business, though.

That's A Walk to Remember. Where the Heart Is is the movie with Natalie Portman where she has her baby in the Walmart. It's so good.

A Walk to Remember was so romantic. I love the way that Landon's heart was changed by falling in love with Jamie. Oh, my heart clenched just thinking about it.

I have to reread Where the Heart Is because I completely forgot Ruby was different in the book. Loved the book and the movie was awesome.

I'll have to co-sign on Lord of the Rings also.

Kiss the Girls was another really good one. Love Alex Cross. :-)

I see.

Well, for me its not that I don't get out and around, I do and quite a bit too, but there's just too much to do! There's not enough hours in a day, days in a month, months in a year, time in the world for me to do everything I want to do. Ugh. It's annoying just thinking about it. :)
