Today I am starting

Dale, what did you think of the book? I am almost finished with the first one and trying to decide if I should keep reading the series.

I'm almost done with the Disovery of Witches series. Will soon start The Book of Life. Been meaning to read this series for a LONG time and I almsot regret not reading it sooner ^_^.
Pretty much, I'm going through my TBR list so that I actually read those instead of just finding more and more new books.

I just started the Cassandra Clare series the mortal instruments.

Then I am starting

I have started Stripped Bear (novella prequel to The Last True Vampire Series) and so far its good.

Hi Brittany - I'm glad I stumbled on your note here about Geisha Life...Memoirs of a Geisha was my favorite book for a long time. I'll have to look into this.
Thanks,
Juliette

Bring on the weekend - have already bribed the hubby to take the kids off my hands for a day so I can get stuck into - To Thrill A Thief

It is an excellent Vampire Hunter vs Vampire action story set against the backdrop of the south west US.
Builds very well and has some great twists and turns.

I've read and re-read books 1 & 2 (which are free right now, if any of you want to read them and talk about them with me!)

I haven't been active in this group because of my indie author pursuits. I am looking for a few people who will give me a review of my paranormal romance, mystery/suspense, Crystal Clear.
It's about a Pittsburgh psychotherapist who moves into a Victorian house, gazes into a crystal ball, and discovers her own death in the 1940's in this SAME HOUSE. Her journey to find her past life killer ultimately leads her to the island of Kauai, where her wounded heart finds healing.
If that piques your interest and you have time in the next 6 weeks to read and post an Amazon review, I will gratefully send you a Kindle or Nook version free (via Smashwords).

Thanks, you all. And happy reading. As we say on the islands, mahalo nui loa.

This book is part of a 4 part series - very creepy so far - finished the 1st book - getting ready to read the 2nd one in the series

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown - YA, different take on vampires. thought it could've been a series or cut to a short story.
The Defiant Hero - SEALS romantic suspense.
The King's Blood - book 2 in a series. Good fantasy, a lot of intrigue and politicking.
Brotherhood in Death - Newest in a huge series, futuristic, police procedural romantic susupense.
The Handmaid's Tale - depressing, yet thought provoking like a good dystopian sci-fi.
The Dragonbone Chair - first in a classic fantasy series.
