Britney | 380 comments Finished Dark Side of the Moon (Dark-Hunter #9, Were-Hunter #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon , dark Hunter number 9, and I didn't like it. Really at all. First time that's happened in this series so I guess that's pretty good for 9 books in.

Also finished Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost by Jeanine Frost , which was on my to-read list and I LOVED it!! Could not stop reading it, had it done in a day. Paranormal romance.

I'll either start the second book in the Night Prince series next or Dragon Knight’s Ring (Order of the Dragon Knights, #5) by Mary Morgan by Mary Morgan the 5th and I think final in the Order of the Dragon Knights series. It's a historical slight paranormal romance. Love them all so much!

Once Upon a Rose (Once Upon, #4) by Nora Roberts Short novella by Nora Roberts, Jill Gregory, Ruth Ryan Langan and Mariann Willman in paperback.Just finished. 5 stars
This book contains four lovely stories of mythical lands and happily ever afters. From witches, sorcerers, curses, magic and romance. From forced marriages, roses forever put into ice, to a beautiful Phoenix. The stories take you away to far off lands and lets your imagination run wild. Although some stories were more powerful, better written and entertaining, I found it to be a wonderful collection and I can't wait to read the others in "Once Upon..." Great stories.

Stories by Bette Lee Crosby Stories the Story behind the Stories by Bette Lee Crosby on kindle. Finished 5 stars
A wonderful book from Bette Lee Crosby where she tells how the ideas came to her for her different books and how these wonderful characters are generated. Some were by thoughts, visiting a certain place, stories that her readers had shared with her, and some from her own life and experiences. It was very interesting to read not only the excerpts from the books, but also to read favorite quotes from the stories by readers. She also includes a guideline of her books and series, so that you get every bit of enjoyment out of them. I loved reading the synopsis of each book. It reminded me how much I enjoyed and loved everyone of her books.

Dawn | 199 comments I am reading The Sapphire Brooch (Celtic Brooch #3) by Katherine Lowry Logan . It is the third in her Celtic Brooch trilogy. So far I liked the second book best, but for the price these were pretty good. No Outlander, but I have enjoyed them.

Was reading the description of the first book and it's kind of similar to the Order of the Dragon Knight series. Which I love. And also, it's set in my state! Only a few hours from me :) I may give them a try.

Dawn | 199 comments The biggest issue I had with them is the continued use of electronics (iPhone, iPad, trackers, etc) while they are in the 19th century. But I guess if I am pushing the limits to allow for time travel in the first place, I can give a little further.

Vicki (vickiguardianofthewraiths) I'm reading Daddy In Dress Blues (Silhouette Romance, 1470) by Cathie Linz and Finally a Bride (Texas Boardinghouse Brides, #3) by Vickie McDonough to finish my last challenge for August and then I'm going on a binge read of Nora Roberts. I have to organize her books that I have so that I make sure if I don't have all in series or that are connected I can get them See how many I can get to add to the 1000 book challenge

Prisoner of My Desire by Johanna Lindsey Prisoner of My Desire by Johanna Lindsey in paperback. Finished 2 stars
A story of what greed will make you do. As having your step-sister rape a man only to become impregnated by him so he can pawn the child off as another's to gain a castle and army. Also by beating her mother while she watches so she does it save her mothers life. Then in turn, when the man finds her out, treats her the same for revenge. This is a story you either love or hate, or love to hate. I found the contents disturbing the story itself good. Even though it is fantasy, I found myself disgusted with some of it along with the characters. It is extremely graphic and the story of rape upsets me, that is just me. I did not like how the story ended. I found the book to be very emotionally raw and dark. There is one thing for a person to forgive, but another to be stupid. I love her books, and by all means I will continue to read her work. This one was just not my cup of tea.
