2016-Jan/Feb/March- What Are You Reading?
Lost in Wyoming by Vivian Sinclair. Great book. This is a contemporary western romance about a writer from New York City who finds herself unexpectedly in Wyoming.
Moon Over Laramie
I'm making slow work on Newton's Law of Attraction but mainly due to attending a clinic - my reading is just a bit haphazard...
Currently reading - collection of books under "Gods and Mortals"
; read the first 4 stories so far, the book that will be following is Book 3 "Fallen" from Christine Pope.. I seem to be on a mythology kick at the moment.
I just finished
and had a good discussion about it at our local book club.Just started the audio version of
today.

I just keep picturing him as an old leprechaun-looking guy because that's how the voice sounds. It's hard to get everything straight in my head. If I continue with the series, I'll definitely have to switch to print.

The narrators change in this series too. So you might want to at least check out the audios before passing them by.

I actually read the first book, so Kat is probably right. I'm pretty sure I listened from book 3 onwards?
Oh good. I'm enjoying the book so far except for Jericho's voice. So I'll give the next one a try in audio too. Thanks for the info.
The narrator makes such a difference to how we enjoy a book. I am currently listening to Tangled Reins a Regency by Stephanie Laurens. I have read it many times before, but in the audio the heroine who is strong and independent has a really soft ethereal voice making her seem really hesitant at odds to the words she is saying. I am getting used to it but I was tempted not to continue after my first gym session. (The only way I can cope with the head banging music at the gym. I always choose to listen to a book I have already read as I can miss bits with everything going on around me.)
So true, Loriidae. I know what you mean about countering loud music with an audiobook. But I tend to listen when I'm mowing the lawn, drowning out the loud machine noise with something a lot more enjoyable.

I read Texas Kissing during the week and I wasn't impressed. I gave it 2 stars. This was a new author to me too. The only reason I finished it was because I had it for a challenge, otherwise I would have given up before the half way mark.
I've just finished 'In Bed With The Mafia' series by S.K. Lee. OMG!!! Where do I start?!?!? Everyone should read this series. I now have a new favourite Mafia bad boy! I'm totally in love with Enzo Fancelli!!
There's a fifth book in the series. I really hope it's out soon!
finished Beneath These Chains, now listening to
. i see why most reviews said it was twisted but turned them on. i'm freakishly interested in this book. it's so good. glad i've started it.
I got a copy of this from the author. It's just fantastic! It's really funny, romantic and a lot of suspense. The characters are great and it's nearly impossible to put down. A truly great read!!
I'm listening to
, finishing off
and trying to decide whether to reread
or start
.Oh the decisions that face us!
I just finished
and I'm currently reading
and
. All for challenges for February. So far they are all entertaining and fun! Nothing too serious, just some spicy romance.
finished Tangled today. it was really good. i actually liked reading a book from the male pov. now i'm listening to
and may start
I just wrapped up Maya Banks ' KGI series and absolutely loved them! I'm now reading Cora Scott's Navy Seal E-mail Bride #1. It's very good so far.
Nicole wrote: "I just wrapped up Maya Banks ' KGI series and absolutely loved them! ...."I have been wondering about this series. I couldn't stand the hero in #1 The Darkest Hour he was (view spoiler) I enjoyed the mystery element and the overall writing. I thought I might try another one.
