I'm trying for 12 books this year, and my first one is Les Villes De La Plaine: Roman. I really like it, so it should be a good start for my reading year.

First book finished : 1/12.Les Villes De La Plaine: Roman was amazing, the writting was poetic, the characters were great, and the ending was bitter-sweet. Recommended to everyone who reads French.
Bev wrote: "Good luck! And congrats on completing your first step up the mountain!" Thanks! I spent the whole 1st of January reading.
Fay wrote: "Congratulations on your first step - in French too!" French is my mother tongue. It's sometimes frustrating when I want to recommend a book I loved and it hasn't been translated into English...For my second step, I want to finish The Little Friend by Donna Tartt : I began it last summer but I got distracted...
