According to Coffee everything that happened to her was everyone elses fault and she was a completely innocent victim. She kept sleeping with the guy who cheated on her with her best friend (well I guess they shared the jerk since he had a baby with the friend an they were in a relationship). She had an affair with a married man who turned out to be her "brother". Her sister turned out to be her mother who was raped by her uncle. She had a baby with the jerk. The friend sets her up for a murder for hire of the jerk and she still wants to be friends with the chick. She finds a decent guy who loves her and her baby but she can't stop think about the jerk because she loves him and has deep feelings for him. She cheats on the boyfriend with the jerk and wants him to give her a break about it because she needed to be sure that she was over him and that she could move on with someone else.
I think you get the gist so I'm going to stop there. Like I said zero stars.

Just finished both. Part one was OK. Book two annoyed me.
Story reminded me of that stupid show Scandal.
I downloaded part 1. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I was excited about it.

I just finished Dark Chocolate by Love Barkhurst. It is a biracial book and was very good. I would recommend this one.

but Skyler is the poster child for TSTL. Honestly, this is one of those books that the main character should have been killed off.

I found it to be quite a good read. A very well written tale that had me in stitches.
I'm not sure what to read next. I donated most of my young adult books. My shelves are looking empty, waiting to be filled. So, I'm hoping to read more interracial romance and more new adult romance.
I have read several IR books recently that I really enjoyed. Revived by Balm, Her Perfect Gift, A Chance at Love, Miscegenist Sabishii

last night. 3.5 stars for me. I wanted to like the book more then I did. Skylar was weak (she didn't make the Ashley work nearly hard enough to make up for is actions) and Ashley was dumb as a rock.
