I'm going to aim for 25 this year, since I just haven't been reading as many HPs lately.

Alex is The Romance Fox (wwwaromancefoxblogspotcom) | 11 comments I'm going to aim for 50 in 2016......I can't resist these stories!!!

Maria | 6 comments Hello ladies always wanted to joined the challenge and I'm going for it in 2016 I will try to read 25

message 7: by Jacqueline J (new)

Jacqueline J | 267 comments Looks like I read 52 HPs last year and I have a monstrous stash to get through so I'll try for 75 this year. That works out to one every 4.8 days. That sounds doable.

Palate cleanser????

Exactly! I use them as a palate cleanser between heavier reads.

LOLZ. That's the perfect definition of a HP. I'm going for the 25 mark this year as well. Not only is it a palate cleanser, it is also a good after-work wind down for me. It's something I know I can finish between dinner and bedtime as opposed to a heavier read. I feel like I've accomplished something for the day - lolz.

message 15: by A (new)

A (louboutin) | 24 comments I'm really into the 50s-early 90s HPs lately so I'll manage at least 30 this year. I've been in a rut reading the same Mather, Lamb, Mortimer Winspear, Craven books. I need to discover new HP authors who wrote during those eras

message 16: by Leona (new)

Leona (wdwcbm) | 373 comments A - Yvonne Whittal, Jessica Steele, Patricia Wilson are authors you might like to try that are big on angst and from that era.

If you want a lighter touch, Betty Neels, Essie Summers, Mary Burchell and Amanda Doyle are also fun.

message 17: by StMargarets (new)

StMargarets | 112 comments Daphne Clair, Rachel Lindsay, Kay Thorpe, Margaret Pargeter, Anne Weale. There are lot of great authors in the Presents line.

Have you checked out Fiction DB? They list all of the HPs in order of publication with authors and book blurbs. It's a great resource. Here's a page from 1980: http://www.fictiondb.com/series/harle...

Debbie "Buried in Her TBR Pile" (da4pups) | 3 comments I'm going to try for 20 - it will be a start on my huge HP TBR pile (one of many new year resolutions:)

Alex is The Romance Fox (wwwaromancefoxblogspotcom) | 11 comments I absolutely love MB &Harlequin....I'm addicted to them since the first one I read.....many many years ago.

Romance Rocks!!!!

message 29: by Gege86 (new)

Gege86 | 15 comments Last year I've read 116 HP when my goal was 75. This year I want to read a little less, so my goal is going to be 25, but since those novels are my guilty pleasure I'm sure I'll overdo it again :)

message 30: by Bhavna (new)

Bhavna | 7 comments How do I add the books I have read

message 31: by Bhavna (new)

Bhavna | 7 comments My goal is 70, I have already read 12 but it doesn't show

message 32: by Vintage (new)

Vintage (vintagesedona) | 312 comments You have to register the date read as well as create a shelf called "hp".

That should do it.

Debbie "Buried in Her TBR Pile" (da4pups) | 3 comments Use the link at the top of the page: Sign up here and on the official challenge page...Make sure you sign up for the correct challenge (I see 2). Enter the information - how many books you intend to read and the shelf you will use. If you have already added the shelf, use the exact name (dashes and all - GR adds dashes for spaces in shelf names.) Hope this helps - it solved my problem.

message 34: by kholiette (new)

kholiette | 2 comments I can easily go for 50. But can we combine both challenges? I mean the 6 months one and the yearly one?
