Somewhere between book 15 and 20 I know they discuss kids (probably due to Mavis being pregnant), but the consensus was they aren't ready.

Belles | 156 comments I just finished, and I won't rehash everything since it's all been said above. But I'm sitting here marveling that after 50+ stories and counting Robb is still killing these books! I'm amazed at her writing skills, thrilled to read these stories, and glad that I've joined the In Death party with you guys. :D

Isn't that remarkable? There are some less exciting than others but for the most part, I'm still finding the series fresh and a priority in my reading schedule.

Kathrynrose Officer Shelby was a beat patrol officer who first showed up in the last book, Brotherhood in Death.

Officer Shelby was the first on scene at the (view spoiler) murder in Festive.

Did anyone catch that Mackey's wife had wanted to quit her job, but he wanted her to keep working so they could save for a house? If she'd quit when she wanted to, she wouldn't have been rushing back to work after her appointment. I think the guilt over that is what sent him spiraling into his addiction.

SB*needs low angst books* I was relistening to this book and realized something I didn't catch the first time. At the beginning, Eve and Peabody had a different view of who was the actual target of the first attack. Eve thought the obgyn doctor due to his injuries and Peabody thought the young regular female ice skater because she was first and that she could see it being her due to jealous reasons.

I realized they both ended up right in the end just different way. Eve was right because the main target was the doctor due to the father's agenda for revenge and he was a key to the other attacks. Peabody ended up right because Willow was the one who chose the other victims and jealousy was a factor for her being the one of her choices.

Hey that is a great point and one I thought of too but didn't think about his guilt factor but could have been a huge part of it.
