Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Oh, yes. Loved that one, Sue...and that series. I bought them all on audio, but I've yet to re-read them via my ears. Although...I think I listened to that last one. Hmmm. I'd have to check.

I own 4 out 5, just finished it. Great fun, very much enjoyed the series. Some books better than others but I think the final 3 are my favorites. It's funny this series was quite good, but I haven't always been enchanted by this writer. So maybe the material match my mood.

Sue | 205 comments Started Lord of Darkness Lord of Darkness (Maiden Lane, #5) by Elizabeth Hoyt book 5 of the Maiden Lane series. Ashford McNab isn't narrating this one and I can only hope Emma Taylor does a decent job.

Update: Just a quick update, Emma Taylor isn't Ashford McNab, the male voices are so... not good, female are fine. Glad it's a library copy and I didn't buy it.

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments I just finished Landline by Rainbow Rowell which was another stellar Rainbow Rowell book.

Now, I'm reading Demelza (Poldark, #2) by Winston Graham , which is a historical fiction novel, book two of the Poldark series.

And, I found this freebie on Wattpad, Too Late by Colleen Hoover , by Colleen Hoover, which, I LOVE HER, so of course I had to read it, which I'm very happy with right now, about 50 or 60% done with it.

Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2) by Leigh Bardugo The Elite (The Selection, #2) by Kiera Cass Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop

Currently reading:
For a Few Demons More (The Hollows, #5) by Kim Harrison All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #7) by Charlaine Harris

I loved Written in Red so much that I'm having a hard time getting into my currently reading books. Which I thought were safe choices, since I usually enjoy these series. I finished Written in red on Friday, and have spent almost 5 days reading these 2 books now. Usually I finish a book every other day or so.

No I don't have the next books in the series on hand. I'm considering getting physical copies of them all since I loved it so much. If so I'll have to wait a month or two before I can buy them because of economical situations, and books in Denmark are just not as cheap as anywhere else.

Vicki (vickiguardianofthewraiths) Book #2 is going great it started out with a big bang, literally!
A cow exploded in the forest killing 2 people and 10 more cows!
Great mystery. I'm trying to get all in series but because of tight money (I'm retired) only can get 3 or 4 used a month. Amazon has used books for $.01 then $3.99 S&H Back to reading :-)

That is why I rely on my Goodreads friends and their reviews, especially for authors I haven't read before. With the ARC's I read for new authors, I try to write a true review and If I like the author, support them.

It takes some time to read them, as they are kind of long, but worth it in the end.

Also, I just started Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore (Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, #1) by Robin Sloan yesterday. This book is different, but I like it so far.
