Rosemarie I am reading Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Love By Numbers, #1) by Sarah MacLean by Sarah MacLean

It sucked me in from the start. I think this is a new author to me. I hope it continues.

I also borrowed A Secret Affair (Huxtable Quintet, #5) by Mary Balogh (Huxtable Quintet #5) since # 3 was so good. (I have read #4 in the past, I hope my memory is working)

Robin (robinmy) I'm currently reading Criminal (Will Trent, #6) by Karin Slaughter Criminal by Karin Slaughter. The book is split between 1975 and the present. I'm not sure I like it as much as the other books in the series. Of course, I'm only 120 pages into it.

Hey ShoSho, so far, I'm really liking it. It's a YA fantasy book. I'm almost finished, just have two chapters left, I think. The chapters are a little bit longer in this book, as there are only 11, I think. But, right now, I'd give it a 3.5/4 star rating. I'll let you know more when I finish :)

Hey again,
So I finished this book last night. Still holds, 3.5 rating. It was a good story, I think. I think this is the first book this author has published, if I'm not mistaken. I thought the photographs within the book were cool and interesting and I am interested to learn what happens in the rest of the series.

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments Now, I am reading Softly at Sunrise (KGI, #5.5) by Maya Banks , which is a novella part of the KGI series. I think this one should have probably been reading after #6 in the series as it mentions things that most likely take place in that book...... But, so far, it hasn't given any spoilers away.

Next up is a reread from HIGH SCHOOL. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

Vicki (vickiguardianofthewraiths) I got a late start with this challenge. Just finished a boxed set of books but don't know how to count as 1 book or each book in the set? Anyway I'm going to read a new series I found surfing Amazon. It's called "Surviving Ashes" by Kennedy Layne which I can also count for 2nd quarter challenge of Dystopian Romance now to get started

Pauline (michiganpal) | 5 comments Currently reading Fires of Winter by Johanna Lindsey.

I discovered that it was the first book in the series. I had started reading probably the 2nd book, Hearts Aflame, sometime last year. I didn't know that was part of a series. I'm glad I am reading this one first. Are there other books in this series?

message 234: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Pauline wrote: "Currently reading Fires of Winter by Johanna Lindsey."

There are three books in the series. Here is the link to the Haardrad Family Series

By the way, if you click on the grey link next to the title of any book here on GR (as long as it is in a series and not a standalone), you will be taken to the series page for that book and can see if there are others.

Now I'm working on:
Interview with the Vampire (The Vampire Chronicles, #1) by Anne Rice Struggling a little bit with this one, but I'm also kind of enjoying it. So strange with a book without chapters ?
Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5) by Rachel Caine These are as usual pretty quick to read, but suddenly had to finish 2 other audios before I could continue with this one. I've got about 2 hours left of it
The Duke and I (Bridgertons, #1) by Julia Quinn I'm absolutely loving this book. Oh my gosh. It's my first ever Julia Quinn book, and this morning I just couldn't put the book down, but then my iPad ran out of power, and so I thought I should get some breakfast. Can't wait to get back to it!
