I choose to read The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I really enjoyed it!! A true classic and a frightening journey into the mind and demons of one man. Highly recommend for this task

GR says it is 91 pages. Amazon is on drugs - they state the print length is 496 pages - not!

I read this today! I loved it - the cover of the book matches the view outside my window, I love how she captured the essence of Oregon so perfectly. :)

I happened to walk by The Terrorist's Son: A Story of Choice at the library. Normally I would have skipped right over it, but I picked it up because it was under 100 pages, and am so glad I did. I just want to give this man a hug.

Just read The Sleeper and the Spindle - beautiful illustrations, and a powerful new take on the fairy tale genre. And honestly, I'd read anything by Neil Gaiman, even if he re-wrote the phone book! I highly recommend!!

I read Seth Godin's Poke the Box. I'll save you the trouble. At 84 pages, it's about 83 pages too long. The wildly simplistic premise is this: come up with an idea; execute it; you might fail; do it anyway. Did you know that famous people like Oprah Winfrey sometimes fail but keep trying new things? The most interesting part is a full page quote from Cory Doctorow. Aside from that, don't bother.

Edit: Just read it this morning, took about 20 minutes. :)

Highly recommended. Contains excellent points about what it means to be feminist and why feminism is so important.

I didn't realize when I put the book on hold that it was less than 100 pages, but I completed # 11 with No Honor Among Thieves by J.A. Jance. I always enjoy her mysteries, even this short one.

I read Meg Mackintosh and the Stage Fright Secret: A Solve-It-Yourself Mystery by Lucinda Landon. I really enjoyed the series when I was younger and I am hoping to finish all the published novels this year.

I read Heart of Darkness for this task. This was the longest <100 pages ever - I did not like it at all. The only upside it that I get to check another book off the list of 1001 books you must read before you die.

A friend recommended A Late Verdict, by Milo Bell. It's a good quick read at 73 pages and is reminiscent of classic mysteries like those by Agatha Christie. The author captured the feel of the time period and created a nice twisty story. Will look for more by him in the future.

The Little Prince is one of my all-time favorite books. I first read the book in HS French class, and have reread it many times (in English) since then.

Apparently I don't own any books under 100 pages, which is a bit surprising. I think I'm going to pick up The Little Prince from the library for this challenge. The movie previews look adorable and I always try to make a point of reading the books before I go see the movie adaptations.

I just finished such a great book for the middle-grade novel task (Wonder) that I am reading the next "chapter", I guess you'd call it a novella, for this challenge: The Julian Chapter. It's so fun how reading one book can lead to another in this challenge; and/or open up an entire genre I'd never even considered before.

I picked Roverandom by J.R.R. Tolkien for this one. The text itself is under 100 pages and the rest is just notes.
