Goal Met So Far: 3/8

message 352: by TerryJane, Challenges (new)

TerryJane | 4042 comments Updated my original post. The message number changed from 202 to 201 and now to 200, so I think I'll just leave it unnumbered. ;-)

I'd planned to do 12 (half), but am at 14/12 now. I think I will continue to do more, as I'm enjoying the way this challenge pushes me out of my comfort zone and broadens my horizons.

5. Read a middle grade novel - The Incredible Journey by Sheila Burnford - I chose this book after watching Everest, which gave me a taste to read an epic heroic adventure tale, and you really can't get any more epic than The Incredible Journey. When I opened my copy of this book up, out fell a note my sister wrote me when I was in middle school, so I thought that was pretty fitting.
