An internal conflict in the book the scorch trials is that Thomas misses Teresa a lot and cant stand being away from her for so long. What do you guys think.

Well tucker my name is Riley Feinauer and I read this book a long time ago but I still remember some of it. I do think that missing Teresa is an internal conflict.
missing Teresa is something that is happening inside the character and is happening between those two characters.
One external conflict is that all of them have the flare and they cant get rid of it until they get to the scorch.
The scorch heals the flare

I think that the internal conflict is that Thomas misses Teresa, but there is also a little bit hinting that the internal conflict could be not going crazy and solving things in their heads for getting out of the scorch
