The TBR Randomiser Challenge - 2016
Update to message 21: I've completed 9/18 so I'm halfway to my goal - woo hoo! The latest two I completed are Fraud: Essays and The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer. I loved the latter even though it was a long, hard read. I did not enjoy Fraud.I'm starting Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action today.
Updated message 8✓ 2. The Fashion Police (aka Fashion, Lies, and Murder) read 7/31/2016
✓ 7. The Long and Faraway Gone read 7/23/2016

Update to message 21, I've completed Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take ActionIt was a good read, but not as applicable in my job field as I'd hoped it would be.
I've now done 10/18. I'm not sure which one I'll pick up next.

Hello All, Happy September! It is my favorite month of the year! Partially because my birthday is coming up, but mostly because fall starts, and I love all the fun the end of the year brings. School starts, sweater weather, snow! Lots of time to read.I know I'm a few days late with August's statistics, but I was out of town away from my computer, so here they are: as of today, we have 135 participants. We have read 368 books of the 1997 pledged, and 4 participants have completed the challenge!
Great job everyone!

I was wondering if your randomiser threw up later books in a series than you had actually read, would it be acceptable to substitute the early books in the series for this challenge? Several of the Inspector Morse series came up and some are more than half way through the series. Any problems with me substituting the early ones?

I've decided to join this challenge late. The randomized quarterly challenge was wonderful for me as I read a few books that I probably would not have gotten around to for a while. I would like to do 15 books from my TBR pile. Five books per month for this challenge is reasonable for me since I'm averaging 21 per month YTD :)TBR Randomizer Challenge (Late Start)
