I´d love to join you guys, if you´re willing to do "group" reading.

Consider it done Lindsay.
My apologies for the late reply - I've had my head in books studying for my exams, which, I'.m pleased to say, finished today.
Lindsay wrote: "Enjoy celebrating the end of those exams. Hopefully you will get some time to relax now."Thanks. I will enjoy celebrating the end of the exams.
I have posted the threads for Crime and Punishment and Gone with the Wind for July. Were there any other books that people asked to read in July that I forgot to post? If so, please let me know and I'll correct the error.

April--I was thinking of rereading that soon since the last book just came out. Did you already start??
Hi! I have a few ideas toThrow out there :)
First, I second Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for August. I preordered it yesterday. Yay! :)
Second, I noticed a few people I'm friends with want to read Alice in Wonderland. I didn't go back very far on the threads, but I know it was originally published in November. Maybe paying a small Tribute to it for the buddy reads might be an options.
Lastly, I really want to read "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". I started it as a kid, and I use to have a TERRIBLE time picking up a book and finishing it. Hopefully when the Finish a Series Quarterly challenge is over I can finally pick up this 7 piece chronicle. :)
Jo wrote: "Is anyone interested in reading Chernow's Alexander Hamilton starting this monfh?"Not this month, but maybe August or September. This is a book I will listen to on Audible while I clean for sure (I love biographies while I do house work...I figure if these people can do so much, I can wash the dishes, lol).
Hi everyone. I'm currently still away from home. I'll be home tomorrow (19th) in the evening so all being well I shall update the buddy reads requests etc by the end of the week.
It's a little last minute but I'm wondering if anyone wants to read Mary Queen of Scotland and The Isles or The First Man in Rome with me starting August 1? Since they are both chunksters, I probably won't finish either of them until the end of September.
Is anyone interested in reading The Underground Railroad in September? It's a new release, and the current selection for Oprah's Book Club.

Jo, Kadijah - are you going to read Alexander Hamilton in September?
i>Mary Pat wrote: "Kadijah Michelle wrote: "Jo wrote: "Is anyone interested in reading Chernow's Alexander Hamilton starting this monfh?"I'd love to! I started it, but real life got in the way and I only got a few chapters into it. (For musical fans, that puts me around "My Shot.")

Great! I am waiting to hear back from Kadijah to see if she is able to read it in September as well. Might be a two month read though as it is 818 pages. Will let you know as soon as I hear back from her.
September Buddy Reads are posted! I have moved Crime and Punishment and Gone With the Wind to September!
Would anyone be interested in reading The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson in October?
That's the first book right? I was looking at it on my shelf yesterday thinking I wanted to read it !
It is! Good clarification there, because the book title makes it seem like it's the ending.I would also love to read a horror book in honor of Halloween. Anyone have any good suggestions?
That's a great idea, Caro. I forgot about that book, but it was high on mental to-read list about a year ago.
Cassandra, Winter - should I add The Final Empire to buddy reads in October? (I may join too as I have been wanting to read Sanderson after seeing his work on the final Eye of World series books.)
Please let me know! Thanks!
NOTE: As there were two plus people interested, it has been added.
Cassandra, Caro - Should Bird Box be in the Buddy Reads for October? Please let me know! Thanks!
NOTE: As there were two plus people interested, it has been added.
October 2016 Buddy Reads are posted! Crime and Punishment and Lolita have been moved to October!Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on October's books!
Rachael wrote: "Can I added to the Anna Karenina Buddy read please? I promise I'll actually take part in this one"Of course you can be added! I'll add you to the participants' list right now!
Would anyone be interested in reading one of the Jane Austen books with me in November? The ones I haven't read yet are Sense and Sensibility,Emma and Mansfield Park. I haven't done a buddy read before, so I don't know quite how it works, but I'm excited to try it out.
Nurai wrote: "Would anyone be interested in reading one of the Jane Austen books with me in November? Basically, a Buddy Read gets created as long as two or more people want to read the same book during the same month. A Buddy Read is usually just for one month unless it is a particularly long book. Take a look at October's Buddy Reads here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... to get a better sense of how it works!
FYI, Mindy wants to read Emma so I will set it up as a Buddy Read in November!

Hi Taylor,
Are you still wanting to read Alice in Wonderland in November? I will join you if you are.

I'd be interested in reading this in September or October. That'd be cool. I've been wanting to read this book for awhile now.
